My wheelchair has bicycle tires on it that have schrader valves. I have a little adapter piece that I use when I pump up my tires, will this digital gauge work with the adapter piece?

Hi gr8t3ful,
This gauge was designed for schrader valves as they are on all

Answer:
Replacing the battery should reset the tire gauge. There is no reset button. I would try using it a couple times and if it still does not work, contact Campbell Hausfeld at 800-543-6400 for further assistance.

Customer Reviews

Rated 4.7 out of 5 by 44 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Tire Gauge for the Money I've only used this Campbell Hausfeld Pro Digital gauge a few times, but so far I am pleased with the quality and performance. It feels heavy and well built, and the gauge forms a nice seal against the stem with no leaks. The tire depth indicator on the end of the gauge is a little cheesy so that is why I gave this product 4 stars instead of 5. Although this is a digital gauge, the readout only measures to the 0.5 of a pound. I thought it would read to the 10th of a pound. This should be accurate enough for most people's needs, but I thought I should point that out. All in all, a very nice gauge for the $14 I spent. April 14, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A Solid Value It's a pressure gauge okay. Let's not get too excited. However, it is an exceptionally solid tool that simply works. Highly recommended. May 13, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Does What It's Supposed To Do I had an older digital gauge that served me well for years, but I always disliked the way that I would almost always 'leak' some air out, as I would position the gauge on the valve. Other comments said that this one doesn't do that, and it's true. The only down side that I've found is that I have a van with a 'recessed' valve on one tire (Go figure, I had 4 tires installed, and three have extended valves and one barely extends past the hubcap!), and the shape of the gauge wouldn't allow me to take a reading without removing the hubcap. But the other 3 tires were fine, and my car is fine. December 10, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love these gauges. These things are tough as nails and last for a long time. I regularly give them as gifts because I love them so much. I own a lawn company so we often need to pump mower tires up to 12psi. Then we'll have to check the pressure in a dual rear wheel truck that needs to be at 120psi. This is accurate for both. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best Tiregauge at any price I have found No hard pushing on the gauge to get an accurate reading every time, It is just great! April 7, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Solid tire gauge This is a must-have tool for your car. Easy to use and read. Good weight and not like an all-plastic pencil gauge. So far, it gives accurate readings. The tire tread depth indicator is ok, not really that useful but good to have. I would buy this again. December 10, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Works Fine, BUT Works very well and quite easy to use. No need to push hard to get a good seal and reading. However, when reading the instructions that were packaged with it I found that the battery cannot be replaced and will be good for "about 1000 readings". I believe this should be disclosed before one buys. November 11, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Accurate but... This digital tire gauge seems well made and appears to be accurate but has 2 limitations. The battery is good for only a limited amount of use,3000 times and is non-replaceable so you have to throw it out, which seems a waste. The other problem is that, in some situations, because it does not have a long neck,it is difficult to get in near the tire valve to use. This is more of a problem for motorcycles than bikes. Given these two reservations,it is a good product and not too expensive. June 25, 2013
