I am a professional and needed an air valve in a hurry to paint a guitar body. I build guitars for a living. I purchased this valve and it leaked like my wifes spaghetti strainer from every joint of the device. I knew if I returned it the next one would have the same problem as most all these Chinese products do. So I decided to do all I could to repair it and use it. I disassembled the air valve and used teflon tape to reassemble it. I removed the meter and used teflon tape to reassemble. The coupling that connects to the gun was over sized by at least .5mm. So again using teflon tape I built up a huge layer on the female coupler of the gun until I could get a seal. These locations are indicated in the picture. This item is junk but after what I did it works. So if you purchase this assume it is going to leak and you will have to repair it. It is ashame that the muti-nationals like Homedepot accept quality as low as this from their suppliers. Back in the day Husky and Porter Cable meant quality tools and accessories today they mean junk but the investors are happy, are you? You decide.

Owning an auto body and paint shop, I purchase these regularly. These work very well for air tools I don't have to adjust very often or have to be exact. Although, these ARE easy to adjust and pretty much right on. It's easy to read the dial while in use. I recommend this product for any application requiring regulated air pressure.
