The trigger position and bottom pivot means your finger gets trapped between the trigger and the back of the caulk tube cylinder when you pull it. It's not really very comfortable to use, and might not even be possible to use with any sort of work gloves. I also think this should ship with a small inline regulator and pressure gauge like you would find on a spray gun, even if it increased the cost. The first time you spray a $15 tube of caulk like silly string with a slight touch of the trigger, you'll wish you'd paid $5 or $10 more and gotten a regulator and gauge in the box. Otherwise, it seems like it will last a while and is a good value for the money.

I work in a sheet metal shop and I assemble various parts by either solder or rivets and caulk if the metal will not solder. It took a while to take in a job requiring the caulk method, but I was ready. I have arthritis especially in my hands, so I can say there is a big difference, not having to squeeze a standard caulk gun. You must have an inline PRESSURE regulator (not a FLOW regulator) just before the gun so that you can dial the exact PSI needed according to the thickness of the caulk chosen. I also added a short swivelling air hose between the gun and the pressure regulator for convenience and to keep the small inline regulator from getting in the way. After testing the trigger the first time to see what the pinch point was all about (poor design, trigger should be reversed) I immediately took it to the sanding belt and carefully ground down the lobe closest to the pivot to accommodate my fat finger. Problem solved, it no longer pinches.

Works well with a consumer-grade 2.8 CF @ 95 psi 2 gallon air compressor with single discharge set above 20 psi. Light, easy to regulate, and use. Other than that, some reviewers complaints must be due to their own skills or bogus as this was a very simple and handy tool for me, an small elderly man. I presume that it lasts for more than one season, etc. Wish it had arrived sooner.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Campbell-Hausfeld airpowered caulking gun Works exactly as advertised. Read the manual in the box. Requires use of an adjustable pressure regulator on the compressor. Working PSI is 15-20 lbs. Do some test outputs and adjust your pressure from that base. Cut the tip on the tube as short as possible, e.g. 1/4" from the end - about the diameter of a wire coat hanger and do some test beads/spots. Adjust it from there, along with your air pressure, to get the desired affect. Bought this to caulk nail holes on primered T-111 prior to painting, worked like a charm. Can't wait to lay a continuous bead with it along a tub or countertop, this thing is great,
