Customer Questions & Answers

Does the material pick up tube face forward or rearward in the can?

If the tube faces forward, it can spray down better. If the tube faces rearward, it can spray up better.
Asked by: John
The pick up tube faces forward. It sprays down and straight out quite well. I have not yet tried it up.

Will this spray gun work to paint exterior house with latex?

Asked by: John
Yes, it will spray exterior latex just fine. I used Behr Stucco paint thinned slightly with water at 50 psi of air pressure. The stucco looks beautiful. It creates a nice gentle spray with very little over spray.

Customer Reviews

General Purpose Spray Gun is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 10.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Did good for my first spray gun experience. I used the spray gun to paint the wainscoting in my kitchen (about 30 linear feet). Used latex paint thinned per the manufacturers instructions. The finish came out nice, but I think the spray was on the light side. Being a first time user I was not sure what to look for. The instructions did a decent job of trying to explain what to look for to get the pattern and amount set correctly, but I think it takes a little experience. The only thing that concerned me was there did seem to be a light paint dust created. Though this may have been caused because the spray volume was set too light. I had an exhaust fan running and wore a dust mask so no harm there, but I did not cover everything so some paint dust may have collected on the floor and appliance tops.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from C H spray gun Depend what u looking for this gun fit my needs.Good for remodeling use with many kinds of paint: latex (which is most important for me),oil, stain etc.Don't use it if u wanna paint a car or bike not recommended even by C H. This gun need low air consumption that means u can use it even with small compressor which is great.Easy to clean up if u do that right after use.Full recommendation

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Value for Performance Works well. Not an expensive sprayer. Used to paint deck. Not difficult to clan. Pattern was consistent. Don't have anything else to say but have not reached minimum yet. Guess need to say a little more. This is kinda dumb to have a review that requires 50 letters. Guess will keep on making letters for Home Depot IT people to see. When does this end?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great! Built a bookcase and dresser and used this gun to spray interior paint. No need to thin. Next project will be stain and polyurethane finish and expect to have zero problems.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent spray gun I purchased this gun to paint a block wall. I only had a small 6 gallon compressor, but this was plenty to support this gun, no matter what the box said. The paint sprayer was excellent and very easy to use. If you have small compressor and need a paint sprayer, I would highly recommend this gun. Work much better then any of the electric sprayers. Only week point is the manual, but this gun is so easy to use, that you really hardly need the manual.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from paint container great for what I use in spraying my paints, great timing on shipping to my home

Rated 3 out of 5 by from So-So Paint gun has a narrow nozzle point, therefore the spray of latex paint is not as smooth as one was hoping... however one cannot expect a <30 sprayer to spray equal to a $1000. It does work great with stains, thinned oil based paint, and it probably works well with some Latex, just not my exterior quality thick stuff.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It Works Just Fine This spray gun works just fine with exterior latex paint. I used Behr Stucco paint slightly thinned with water and 50 psi of air pressure. The stucco looks beautiful. There was very little over spray. I have no complaints.
