Answer:
Although this is a great unit for spraying a variety of paints, it is not recommended for catalyzed paints due to the warmer air temperatures that develop in the air hose itself.

The biggest needle that is available for this unit is 1.01mm. This would not be suitable for auto painting.

Answer:
The HV2002 will spray latex paint. This unit is designed for home painting projects such as fine furniture, cabinets and equipment. It can be used to paint interior walls but it is not meant to be used continuously, meaning you may not be able to go from start to finish without taking some breaks to avoid overheating of the sprayer.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by very easy to use and maintain i have been spraying a lot of industrial metal paint for 2 years with this sprayer and it just now needs a new needle set and i dont take very good care of it either lol i am lazy on the clean up i just spray water through it and dry it and it just keeps on spraying great. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by met my expectations this product is a very good value for the price, I havn't used it a lot yet, but i did spray a couple lawn chairs I built, and it worked fine. I have a good bit of experience with commercial sprayers and this unit does as good a job. July 3, 2012
