I have 16 steps and a small landing halfway up. I need to coordinate laminate floor with same cap a tread but am worried the thickness will be different.

Answer:
Hello Dawn,
There are a couple of options available. The first is to check the thickness of your existing flooring at the landing and see how it compares to the Cap-A-Tread. If the height difference is minimal then using a small transition cap might work.
If there is no bull nose at the landing then the Zamma stair nose molding is the recommend option.

The stair nose will finish off the edging as well as provide a clean transition onto the floor. I hope this helps.
Cheers,
Chris

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Awesome Looking Stairs! These were not easy to put in since our steps weren't completely straight, but once they were in they looked amazing! They're not cheap but they're totally worth buying. We can't get over how good they look. June 24, 2014
