Answer:
Hello and thank you for your interest in our product. My sincerest apologies for the delayed reply. Yes that's correct. Each tread costs $49.98. Your savings add up in labor costs and time. A traditional laminate installation on a staircase can cost up to $95 per stair on average as they require you to rip off existing overhang to install them, which is time consuming and violates building codes.

Answer:
Joy , it will not match because the pergo flooring is textured and faux hand scrubbed, the treads are pla
smooth. It can still work unless you want a pergo highland hickory texture

Rated 4.1 out of 5 by 9 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Product! My hallway was completely transformed with these. The appearance and quality are beautiful. I thought they were a little pricey considering I had 10 stairs to do, but convenient not having to stain them, etc. The installation definitely requires a table saw if they don't measure exact to your needs. They cut well with a clean finished edge. Just put them in this weekend, so we'll see how durable they are. May 17, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Product was ok The product was ok but after I got the box home I discovered that it had been sealed with duct tape and some liquid had spilled onto the box and seeped inside the carton. It was a sticky substance. Instead of returning it my husband wiped it off with soap a mild soap and it was ok. I ordered the product online and picked it up in the store. September 27, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by excellent purchase This is a qua;ity product. extremenly hardy and good looking September 7, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Worked well Very easy to cut and install, they look good and hopefully will hold up well. When doing landings where you need to put at least 2 together, you will need to trim the back side cap as the laminate does not go all the way to the end of the step. Table saw is a must for that. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Cap a tread Great product easy to install Wife happy!!!Thats all that matters July 19, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Cap a tread The hickory cap a tread was fairly easy to cut and place on the stairs. The pattern is awful as there is a huge dark blotch in the same spot on every piece and it is not textured like the pergo so it does not feel the same when you walk on it. June 7, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Jay The Higland hickory stair treads do not match the pergo flooring product. Looks like cheap no texture, No hand scrubbed, just smooth/not as hard as pergo flooring surface. Do not waste your money Pergo name not on boxes. . January 26, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by DIY Stairs Received so many compliments on our new stairs and this made it so easy! Glad to be rid of the carpet:) June 2, 2015
