Does the Vintage Oak Cinnamon come in Type 2 for stairs 1-1/8" thick or greater?

I see that they advertise it as generally available in their video and I see other wood styles of this brand come in Type 2, but I'm not seeing it in Vintage Oak Cinnamon, which is the style of flooring I have.
Asked by: Dave

Does the thickness match the corresponding vinyl plank?

My vinyl plank flooring will end at the top of a set of stairs. Is this stair tread the same thickness and can it be used alongside the corresponding vinyl plank flooring?

Customer Reviews

Vintage Oak Cinnamon/Cider Oak 47 in. Long x 12-1/8 in. Deep x 1-11/16 in. Height Vinyl to Cover Stairs 1 in. Thick is rated 3.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy Stair Improvement Project Purchased 20 stair caps to take place of old carpeted stairs. Under carpet was basic pine treads with gaps on sides of stairs. This product allowed us to measure each stair for proper width to close gaps and proper depth for proper fit. Used table saw for cuts which made the process fairly simple for both the side and length cuts. Stairs could be glued or nailed. We choose to nail with air nail gun. Six nails per stair tread. Stairs went from looking bad to presentation stairs. Would definitely recommend this product. Only drawback was that their were no actual product in the store so that you could see what you were getting before taking the leap of faith. I have attached picture of finished product. Landings were completed using the regular flooring materials on build up pad. Used simple painting of back stairs for the risers versus buying the riser product. Whole process took about 10 - 12 hours. Definitely worth the time and effort.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from NOT the easiest floor you've ever installed! Flooring does NOT cut well! Does not go together easily. Returned it 1/3 of way through project after realizing the floor would likely buckle after installed.
