Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Get what you pay for with these. These boxes are very cheap, and you get what you pay for. They distort out of shape very easily. The holes where you mount the device are not threaded, and it's easy to strip them out. Rotozip bits cut through them too easily. They will work, but not recommended. April 25, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Junk Cheap junk. They flex and a roto zip cuts right through them. A guide point on the roto zip doesn't help either, that thing gets hot and cuts through them also. After you replace a few of these because a sheetrocker cut though the screw hole, you'll never use them again. And don't think about using the so called heavy duty blue boxes made by the same manufacturer. They're just as easy to cut through. These cheap flimsy boxes also flex in the wall. A single gang isn't that bad but a 2 gang box pushes back into the wall when you plug something into it, breaking the plate and making your workmanship look questionable. My advice for roughing in electrical for a residential job is to go to an electrical supplier and buy the heavy duty fiberglass boxes. Allied moulded is a very good brand. April 7, 2013
