The slats are only 56 inches to start. Weaving them into the fence also takes some of the length. By the time the slats are in place, they are almost 5 inches too short. I would NOT recommend this product.

This product provided a nice privacy feel in an already existing chain link fence, avoiding the cost of a new wooden privacy fence. This was especially beneficial in neighboring dogs not seeing each other as easily, decreasing continual barking. I've also received nice compliments from others about the decorative appearance that this has created in my backyard.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by PrivacySlates Slates are NOT 60 inches each...they are 56 inches each...
I purchased 5 boxes of slates for a 5 foot chain linked fence (60 inches), however, when I put them in the fence they did not cover from top to bottom. I measured the slates and they are actually all 4 feet 8 inches tall (56 inches)...although the produce came well before the estimated arrival date the product was significantly shorter than anticipated. I would recommend the product if they had arrived the size that I thought I was ordering, however, I would not recommend the product since they were only 56 inches tall...

I ordered the wrong slats. I thought they'd be flat, not corrugated slats. The corrugation makes the slats wider & more difficult to thread through fencing. Also the cheap plastic used bent and twisted easily, making the process even more difficult.

I installed about 40 feet of this in a 20 year old chain link fence and it was straight forward and looked great.

These slat do what they are advertised for. They slide into the spaces in the fence and screen our dog's sight lines of our neighbors.
Unfortunately, you have to go along and slide each slat into the fence individually, which does make for a time consuming task. However, it's not a difficult one, just repetitive.
With the way that the slats were boxed and shipped, all of the slats do come slightly bent, which makes threading them into the fence slightly more annoying than I might have liked, but not an overall problem really.
So far the slats have held up well of sun, rain and dog urine. I'll be curious to see how they fare after a New England winter.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by EB76 Very cheap & easy to use compared to similar products.
I used this product on baseball field gates instead of wind-screens. The wind screens have to be custom made to fit on the gates & then don't last very long but with the fence slats, I can make it fit on any size gate, I don't need to take it down in the off-season, they should last a lot longer, & the price was much cheaper than custom made screens.

We wanted a little privacy and had an existing chain link fence. The flexible slats were easy to install and stay in place with the bottom snap-in channel. It still lets the air through but gives a sense of privacy. Much cheaper than replacing the chain link fence. Would have liked it to look a little neater on the top. We couldn't go down to the bottom of the fence because of tree roots, etc. over the years. But I think if we could have, it would have been even with the top rim.
