Beautiful fire pit. Very elegant... only problem is after about 3 uses, I noticed a slight buckling in the 'grill'. Otherwise, Love it.

I love the style of this fire pit. I had a copper fire pit in the past that I wasn't using much, so I gave it to a friend who is still using it. I recently bought a different style that rusted out in only a couple of seasons even with a cover. I'm happy to have a copper one again. The durability of copper can't be matched.
It's bigger than my old one, so it's not as easy to lift and move by myself, but since it will hold a lot more, that's a small inconvenience.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by JamesC Quick and easy to assemble. Lighter weight base and flimsier bowl than expected. Real copper.
I ordered this firepit primarily for the copper bowl, to replace the 8 year old bowl on my round stone firepit that was rusted and worn thin from years of almost weekly use. This firepit arrived well-packaged, in lots of rigid styrofoam and cardboard, which served to protect the pit from damage in transit, but it was a bit of a hassle to dispose of all that packaging. The base is easy to assemble, requiring only a Phillips head screwdriver to tighten down the 8 provided Phillips head machine screws. All of the holes lined up, which allowed assembly of the base to be completed in about 5 mins. The copper bowl sits on the base, and is not affixed. The bowl is indeed genuine copper, but it's thin and bends fairly easily. The base of the bowl is solid, with no drain hole. The wood grate and poker/lid tool are made with 1/4-inch metal rod thats painted black. The grate and poker/lid tool will serve their intended purposes for a while, but the quality of these items is poor. The metal mesh screen lid on the other hand is as expected. The lid is intended to be used to contain the embers when the fire has burned out, although some people place the lid on an open fire, which is fine, but sigificantly decreases the usable life of the lid as its not intended to withstand high-temperature and will rust once the painted finish is baked off. I paid twice as much for this copper firepit as my old one, which was a thick cast iron bowl with a weighted cast iron base, but expect it will last half as long, if I'm lucky. For the money, at the time of purchase, this fire pit represented the best deal in a copper bowl fire pit. One thing to note is the product photo shows the handle atop the lid standing up, however it flops to one side, making it difficult to remove the top with the lid tool, especially if the lid is hot. IMO, this fire pit is good, but not great, and is of average quality.

Easy to put together, our 16 yr old son did it. Like larger size, can easily put several logs in. Good value for money with cover being included. Our last copper fire pit like this but size smaller lasted 8-10 years until someone accidentally ran over it.

I live near the beach and my last couple of fire pits rusted away fairly quickly. I will have to keep an eye on the frame for this, but the bowl is perfect.
