Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Tboomer So far I am really liking this outdoor firepit....
The only tools required to put it together are a screwdriver and pliers. The unit took about about 45 minutes by myself. So far it is working out really well. It looks very nice in the backyard, seems solid, radiates heat all-around and cleans out quite easily.
If you want to burn logs I would go for a unit that like the Landsman that has a solid drum for a basin. This is strictly for kindling, some broken-up branches, and maybe a very small log. Use newspaper or dried leaves as firestarter. Do not use the fire-starter logs that you buy in a store because they will leave an untreatable oily mess on the bottom of the unit. Overall a good buy thus far....

Assembly is pretty simple and took perhaps 15 minutes. Unit is good size with ample room to add wood and kindling. The access door would seem a good idea, but since the top just lifts off it's easier to tend the fire from above. I wish it came with a lift off hook on the top, and it would also benefit from a raised platform to let air underneath the logs; I'll be adding both. Overall the unit offers a bigger firespace than most, good heat output and visibility. Comes with a cover.

I purchased it because I have a big family and some of us smoke, When we all get together during holidays and family gatherings the smokers go outside to smoke. This fireplace is great for that. we move the picnic table off the concrete patio and replace it with the fireplace, it gives off heat all the way around so no one is cold. It is also great for camping. And the price with free shipping was an offer I couldn't refuse.
Five stars for a great product.

After 1st season, completely rusted. Painted it and got second season. First use this season, bottom rusted through and legs rusted off as well, despite keeping it covered. Looking to replace it; won`t buy metal, ceramic or stone this time.Don`t waste your money on this rust bucket.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Louie Does not last
Had it for 3 years and it completey rusted. Even covered it with the vinyl cover that was included. Painted it 3-4 times with 2000 degree heat resistant paint but to no avail. Mesh sides are completely gone, top of dome rusted off, door rusted shut. Only thing that held out (so far) is the bottom pan and legs. Nice design and made for many great nights of fires but hoped it would haved lasted longer.

It looks nice and was big enough but even in the first few weeks it started to rust. I always had it covered and even spray painted it with rustolium high temp paint to try and keep it alive. Only lasted 2 seasons before it was to far gone.
