Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by This does work! We made the mistake of storing bird seed inside our Montreal home. Then came the moths, only saw one or two a day but we could never get rid of them, even after almost a year. Even tho we only saw one all day, we opened a moth trap. Within an hour we caught over a dozen. Even tho the package says it only catches males, we have seen the larger females flying around the traps too. (maybe checking out the new girl in town?) That makes it easier to swat them (the females) since they seem to stay near the traps. impossible to kill all of them, we still use the traps 9 months later, but have caught HUNDREDS!! Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Product Works Great We brought these moths' into the house in bird seed in December, 2011. We would kill 2 or 3 moths every day and although the infestation never got any worse it didn't get any better either. We bought this product in April of this year and got about 25 moths in the first two days. Some didn't enter the trap but would be in the vicinity of the trap so we killed them. After the first couple of days the frequency went back to 2 or 3 a day and then tapered off more. We have not seen any for a week now. I am not sure we are completely rid of the moths as there could be a few that have not hatched yet but I know the end of the infestation is near. May 29, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Moth Trap We have only had the traps out for 2 days and they seems to be effective in attracting the moths. June 15, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by No More Moths! I am very impressed with this product: easy to use, non-toxic (I have pets and small children) and caught all of those annoying moths! Each trap was covered in moths in a couple of days. I had been trying to rid my house of these horrid creatures for weeks before caving and ordering these, and as soon as they arrived, I found my problem. It says, "great for birdseed storage areas" on the front, and I realized that my husband had left a sack of birdseed in the kitchen. Neither of us realized that moths live in birdseed! Ick! Thanks to these excellent traps and getting rid of the seed, the problem is solved. I would definitely buy them again, though I hope I won't have to! October 6, 2011
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works Great For Meal Moths We had an infestation of meal moths. At any given time forty or fifty could be found on walls and ceilings. Despite extensive cleaning and disposal of food we were unable to rid ourselves of these pests. After using four moth traps for eight days 90% of the moths are gone. Each of two traps contains about 40 or 50 dead moths. I am not sure if the traps will totally eradicate the moths because one must get rid of the larvae, also. However, the traps certainly keep the number of moths to a manageable level. And I believe that if I do another cleaning and disposal of food and put out new traps immediately there is a good possibilty that I can get rid of all of them. This product is simple to use, economic and I highly recommend it. May 5, 2011
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by wow!!! This product worked great. Within an hour of setting it one trap had a about 6 moths and the other about 4. By morning one had 20+ and the other about a dozen. I have only seen 3 all day, and my wife watched as 1 entered the trap. This trap works. I tend to agree with other reviewers, that those that said it didn't may have been using it for the wrong type of moth. Pantry moths folks..... June 27, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Holy COW these things worked fast! We've had pantry moths for the better part of a year, and NOTHING has worked to get rid of them, even though i think everything we own is now sealed up tight in a vast assortment of glass and plastic containers. within fifteen minutes of setting up two of these traps, we'd caught at least thirty moths. by the next morning, probably another ten or fifteen more. and since then.. NONE. i haven't seen a single moth. these things are MAGIC. MAGIC i tell you. May 12, 2011
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Happy to find this product I had a hard time getting hold of this product and was thrilled that home depot online carried it. Shipped in 2 days. We found some Indian meal moths in some bulk products and this product quickly captured the egg laying moths. Now recommending to others who have the same problem. By the way, it seems that more and more products are infested with this pest. Must be some major quality control issues at source. January 15, 2012
