Gazebo Bird Feeder N311G-DISCONTINUED is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from gazebo bird feeder I like the feeder, with one recomendation, that the bottom rail be slightly higher. the birds seem to waste a lot of seed falling out of the feeder.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Took a long time to get it set up I got this bird feeder online. When I opened the package, it looked okay and I do like the general look and feel of the feeder. It sure looks and feels better than the plastic ones we currently have. But then when I went to pick it up, the top lid of the feeder completely detached from the bottom. Now, I assume the top lid of the feeder is supposed to be connected to the bottom of the feeder by the string of steel wire so that it can hang while, at the same time, be loose so to be able to give access to refill the feeder. That steel wire should have been connected to the bottom of the feeder. Indeed, it looks like there were two staples that should have held the steel wire to the bottom. Except the wire had slipped clean through those two staples by the time it reached my house. It took me and my husband probably ten minutes trying to, first, reconnect the steel wire using the two staples. When that didn't work, we drilled a hole through the bottom of the feeder (we don't own a staple gun) to try and put the steel wire through the hole and tie a knot. To make a long story short, we did manage to get the feeder in some sort of working condition. But for the price paid, the quality was poor if the steel wire can just come loose during shipping and we had to drill our own hole to make the feeder work. Just based on that, I'm not sure how long this feeder can hang in an outdoor environment before it needs fixing or replacement.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very satisfied I received this feeder as a gift 15 years ago when I bought my house. At the time they were carried in the stores. The top became loose from the feeder, but remained in place after filling so I never worried about it. Eventually, the plastic insert became scratched and cloudy, and I discarded it. I kept using the feeder with a plastic container inside it and a few small rocks to keep it weighed down and then filled with food. The wood structure remained sturdy through 15 years of Connecticut winters while mounted on a pole with a squirrel guard. The base is now just starting to come apart from wet seed sitting on it, and rather than try to fix it, have decided it is time to replace it.It has lasted much longer than most items I have purchased in this price range! Well worth the money, and should last for a long time

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very nice bird feeder This was a great price on a very nice bird feeder. It's mounted on a wooden post & looks very attractive in the yard. I just should have fixed the lid in the roof to keep squirrels from opening it:)
