  • Product sold without installation or permitting
  • Equipment should be sized/installed by a qualified professional
Two heat exchangers make this one of the most efficient furnaces on the market today. • At just 34-1/2 in. high, our 80% space-saving furnace is ideally suited to both new construction and replacements
  • Completely assembled, the furnace is ready for installation with a color-coded wiring harness and quick connects fittings
  • Diagnostic lights make it easy to troubleshoot operation
  • Maintenance and servicing is easy to do with readily accessible components
  • 2-piece doors remove quickly and door screws are secured to the doors so they can't be lost after they're loosened

Questions & Answers

can it be converted to propane?

Asked by: rrr555
Yes it can. Currently all the century units take the same kit which makes it convenient. The Home Depot on line SKU for the item is 202829087. If you put that number in the search block it will come up.

What is the output Btu ?

Asked by: bonze
The unit you are asking about has an output of 100,400 BTU's. So that you understand the how this works let me explain further. The unit has an input of 120,000 BTU's and works at 92.1% efficientcy. If you mulitply the input by the efficientcy you arrive at the output. The difference between the two is the amount of heat energy left in the flue gas that is not captured by the heat exchanger. Historically we have wasted 20% of the heat because that is what was needed to make sure the chimney opporated correctly. Here is a link to the manufacturers web site where you can see further information. http://www.century-hvac.com/residential/14-gas-furnaces/136-92-gas-furnace- If you have further questions you are welcome to give me a call.
