Customer Reviews

3/8 in. x 20 ft. Copper Utility Coil is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 7.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect for what I needed- Beer wort chiller I was tenative about purchasing this item because there was only one review prior to my purchase and it was a 1 star, and that person was dissatisfied due to it being thin. Thin was the ideal material for my use- Beer wort chiller. If you need to bend this copper coil I would reccomend that you use a tube bender as not to kink the copper. You really need a tube bender for copper coil even if its thick. For the price I found this product very fair and worth my while. The quality was just fine!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Product was easy to work with I used this to make an immersion wort chiller for homebrewing beer. It came already coiled and was very soft and pliable, which made manipulating it very easy with no kinks. I didn't need to purchase a pipe bending tool. The only thing i might worry about is that it is so thin and pliable, would it dent easily? So far so good. Overall, i am extremely satisfied with the product especially for the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great, for the right price This tubing was very easy to use. I was able to make good 5" coils by hand without any tools. Tighter than that, I would suggest either a tube bender or filling the tube with sand/salt before making a tight bend. I did have to reshape a length of tubing after trying to make a tight bend (equivalent of a 3" coil). I would recommend this anyone who is making a DIY, light-duty heat exchange or condenser. From shopping around, this was a hard price to beat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worked great I made my own wort chiller for cooling my wort during beer brewing. This length is a bit short for that purpose, but I couldn't beat the price, and there is still a remarkable amount of energy transfer in those 20 feet.
