100 ft. 12/2 Black Stranded Landscape Lighting Wire is rated 4.9 out of 5 by 8.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from High Quality Landscape Wire The Cerro 100 ft. 12/2 Black Stranded Landscape Lighting Wire can be used for commercial or residential projects. The insulation seems thicker than that of other brands, but not too thick to fit most snap connectors. This outdoor LV wire can handle a wide range of temperatures and is both resistant to sunlight and soil degradation allowing for either above or below ground installation. The wire comes in a coil and seems more flexible than other landscape wires I’ve worked with and generally needs less convincing to stay where it is placed. I did need to give the connectors an extra squeeze to make contact. I’m pleased with this wire and I would definitely recommend the Cerro 12/2 Black Stranded Landscape Lighting Wire to a friend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does the job! Cerrowire 100 ft. 12/2 Black Stranded Landscape Lighting Wire is good-quality low-voltage lighting cable. The PVC jacket zips and strips easily on the first try. I no longer use insulation displacement quick connects, but the jacket feels pliable enough the quick connects will work well. In my application with hubs or grease-filled wire nuts, the cable works perfectly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 12/2 Black Stranded Landscape Lighting Wire My husband is a electrician and he works on lots of projects with the wire he gets. He can pretty much make anything and run wiring for lights, plugs, and etc. He has put lights in all of our buildings with plugs to. Everything works very well no problems with the wire that we got for the projects. A great wire to work with if you are going to use for landscape.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Scape wire A good gauge wire for more then just a few landscape lights. In the 30ft stretch along my driveway I currently have a light every 3 feet and the wire holds up fine with no voltage drop and could probably add a few more lights as well. Insulation seems to be a good quality as well, wire is very flexible and still holds well. Looks thick enough top last a while.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 100 ft. 12/2 Landscaping Lighting Wire Had to replace outdoor lighting for 12-13 accent lights. After removing the old wiring we replaced new lighting with this 12/2 black wiring. It is great for any outdoor application. It was easy to work with, and eco-friendly. The wiring is quality wiring. Found this product more costly at other store. I will order this product again from Home Depot.

I had a 200 ft roll I used for primary run. Ran out and bought Home Depot's other brand and the jacket was so stiff and hard it was difficult to strip and work with. I'm sure the Cerrowire will hold up just as well and I found it much easier to work with.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This Cerro Product Works Well I used this cable in two installations of outdoor buried conductors, one for extension of our landscape lighting system and the second for installation of a high-powered outdoor audio speaker system. This cable is heavy duty, yet quite flexible and easy to install as a result. I had no issues with this cable being so stiff that it had "a mind of its own", despite temperatures in the 30's during my installations. The insulation was easy to strip, despite the fact that it is quite tough. I tinned the wires, that easy to do with this product as well because the conductors contain many strands of fine wire. This is a heavy duty product that will add little voltage drop that is important for long runs of landscape cable in systems that use incandescent lighting like mine, now having 24 fixtures. Instead of shopping for heavy duty speaker wire that is suitable for direct burial, I used this wire, it working well. I again tinned the stripped ends for connections. Incidentally, for the best installation results, I recommend using dielectric grease on all connections for landscape lighting. This is an excellent product that I will look for again when I need it.
