Product Overview

This 600-Volt, grounded, jacketed cable wire is used primarily in residential wiring, including branch circuits for outlets, switches, etc. It may be installed in both exposed and concealed work in normally dry locations, and in air voids of masonry block or tile walls which are not subject to excessive moisture or dampness. It can be installed in locations with temperatures up to 90˚C but with the ampacity limited to that of 60˚C conductors. The added circuit is for use primarily in residential wiring for branch circuits supplying outlets located in bedrooms and other areas.

Can this be installed in 1" pvc conduit, outside, along a fence, as long as I ensure it's water tight?
Asked by: repairman
This is indoor use only, you can never use a Romax type wire in conduit as it is only for indoor use. All pipe leaks and the paper separators will get wet and short.

Firstly, as expected, because of its thickness, It took awhile to "straighten" it out, and of Herculean strength to do so, before I can route it, under the floor of my house, from range receptacle to main electric service panel. And as expected, the "fun" part came when wrestling with the thick wires to route through j-boxes and connect both ends. But most glad, the wire was just long enough. For if found to be short by a foot or so, believe me, there wouldn't be a review, instead would wound up throwing away money costs for this and spending almost twice more for 50'. Lucky me all came out well, the wire is installed and my range has power AND is grounded.
