Answer:
If you were obliquely asking, "Is this product appropriate for antenna wire?", the answer is "Sorta yes."
I'm using it in a thrown-together end-fed long wire eating 100W and having a max span of about 150 feet, and it's been up in the air for about 4 months without problems.
I wouldn't want to put a lot of tension on the wire -- assume everything you build is gonna need to be light-weight and nothing Read More

I wouldn't want to put a lot of tension on the wire -- assume everything you build is gonna need to be light-weight and nothing silly like a center-of-a-span T connection supporting coax. And I wouldn't count on the wire surviving an ice storm.
Or that the wire will survive indefinitely even in benign conditions.
But if you just wanna get something in the air, and especially if you want something for QRP and SOTA operations, this wire pretty much rocks. Also probably would work fine in benign conditions (no ice storms!) as a Beverage receiving antenna, especially if you're willing to go out from time to time and splice any breaks. Read Less

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Strands way Too Fine I make lights and needed stranded ground wire, this wire has very fine strands. I can not even use it because the strands break and the wire falls apart. DO NOT BUY THIS WIRE. August 13, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Will work but not what I wanted I was looking for a flexible bare copper wire but this is too flexible September 30, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by It was a little hard to find bare copper stranded wire, but they had it. It was what they said it was. The price was not out of line, and I will most likely buy more. August 19, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by 250 ft. 18/1 Bare Copper Grounding Wire Review I thought I was ordering a non-stranded grounding wire roll. This fact should have been been in the name that it was a stranded wire roll. However, I have used the stranded wire and it works OK, but I am mixing it with non-stranded wire. January 22, 2011
