Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by ComputeRJ06 Works well, but kit is missing parts
Opener itself is great and I love the convenience of it, however the kit doesn't actually include the parts to mount the device to the ceiling! Be sure to open the box in the parking lot, swipe the manual, and head back inside for the steel plate and bolts/nuts you'll need to actually put the thing on the roof! ;)
Other than the missing parts, the opener is really very simple to install and operate. My house was pre-wired for an opener, so no wires to fish, and everything went exactly as described in the instructions (which is a rare delight). It has two little knobs on the side to adjust how far up/down it goes, and lots of clever safety features to keep from accidentally crushing Fluffy. A great deal for the price.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by JosephMALB Excellent product that is easy to install!
This was a replacement for an older 1/3 hp model. The new model installed seamlessly and took under an hour. Excellent product, value priced.
Photo shows back panel of old model with screws, which have been replaced in the new model with pressure fittings that are much easier to work with.

Generally good. With only one remote is a big setback. Should all models come with a standard of two remotes!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Vorstellen really happy with this opener
I am not one to buy the cheapest anything. I was very suspect of this garage door opener and how loud it would be. But,,,,, I needed to replace an existing door opener that had died. It wasn't in the budget and I straggled with waiting or buying cheep. After a rain storm and me getting wet closing the Garage I decided cheep was the way. The opener was easy to assemble and took about 2.5 hours. iI works really well and the nose is much quieter than the old beast it replaced.. for the price I am extremely happy. I personally am so excited the I saved money and it is really a good machine. Usually when i buy cheep I regret it. Not this time!

THis is a good garage door opener. It was fairly easy to instal. I will say that if your garage does not have a pre existing opener then you will need a couple more brackets as it doesn't come with enough for a new instal. I have seen a few reviews that states that it is loud and I do n not think it is that loud once I cloes the door going into the house I barely here it. I have heard some that are twice as loud and cost twice as much. In any case this is a good product. I would recomend to anyone. Again not to hard to instal once you have the right brackets. Took just a few hours. I would recommend to have someone help if it is a new instal.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by RonM Instructions were horrible
I got this garage door opener to replace mine that had stopped working because the gears inside the motor stripped out. It was very inexpensive and had a newer look to it than my old one. The instructions for it however were horrible. Very difficult to follow and hook up the wiring. Luckily I had marked my wiring beforehand and was very easy to install the entire opener. Got on that was almost an exact match as far as hookup as my old opener. They need to use screws to hook up the wiring though instead of the little push clamps this one uses. That is what took me the longest to hook up because like I said instructions were horrible.

Replaced an existing unit so installation was very easy. Directions are fairly clear. Rail snaps together but is very stout once together. I was not planning on buying this particular package as the description here on the web page didn't show that it had optical safety sensor. At the store I looked at the box and it did have the safety sensors. We have a bigger than normal one bay door. It is also solid wood so quite heavy. The opener has no trouble at all opening and closing. It was easy to adjust the open/close travel. It has been working great for about two months. Hoping it continues to work well....

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Tankroman Good opener
I replaced a 13 year old 1/2 horsepower Craftsman. This appears to be built nearly identically. I reused all the wiring, the track and sensors. It took about 1 hour to mount and adjust. It runs great so far and has a good range for the remote. It is not silent, but it is quiter than the old one. It adapted to the old openers buttons and everything. Unless it is necessary I would not attempt to replace all the parts. The wiring was simple. I taped mine together from my old unit and reinstalled them in the slots in the back of the new unit. The old wiring was 1 2 3 this was color coded, but all the wires go in the same order.
