Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Ottotek Easily Adapted to 9' Door
The 10' Extension Rail Kit was easy to install with the stock 7' Opener Kit. I had installed a 9' door, and after the installation, setting the Door Opener limits was a snap. Great product!

The Chamberlain quiet drive opener is whisper quiet in operation. The instructions were clear and the assembly went up easily. The wires for the door safety and push button are a little short of you add the rail extension kit so plan to extend.

Installation instructions were short, simple and concise. Just be sure you line up the rail assembly correctly with the larger end circular punch out on top.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by GD123 This product is needed for a door higher than 7 feet
The rail extension was made of the same quality material as the rail that came with the Chamberlain door opener. It was well packaged and had all necessary parts to install. They even thought of a longer string for the emergency release! The only difficulty I encountered was understanding which sections of the original rail to remove so that after adding the extension the rail was the correct length. But I figured it out and the rest was simple!
