Really pleased with unit. I'm a DIYer and found the install straight forward, only hiccup was my misunderstanding on installing the tension control.
I was most pleased with the opener 'knowing' the opening and closing limits without me having to do any config. I also like the motion detector on the wall control that turns on the lights on the unit.
Biggest disappointment is that Homelink doesn't work with our 2012 Hyundai Elantra and it took going to online user groups to find out about the incompatibilities. I could understand if an older car, but I figured a new car and a new opener would work together.
Haven't tried the MyQ yet, but looking forward to use it soon.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Brian Very Quite opener!
Coming from a screw driven opener, this thing is SUPER quiet. If it weren't for the minor squeaks from the door hinges, I would never know if the door opens or not. Set up is pretty simple. Although, double check the orientation of the trolley before you bend the tab at the front. Also, a very important note. The instructions about the tensioner are incorrect in the assembly manual. The little orange tag in the tensioner bag is correct. The tensioner goes IN FRONT of the bracket on the trolley with the square nut towards the front. Probably the smartest thing Chamberlain did was pre-program the remotes at the factory. If you plan on using the phone app, you must buy the $50 gateway that plugs into your router. I definitely recommend this opener.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Chuckwow Performs as Advertised and Very Quiet
I have a garage door opener to do just that: open my garage door. I want it to open and close from a button inside the garage, a coded pad outside the door and from a remote transmitter in my car. My newly installed WD962KEV does that perfectly. I replaced my noisy 12 year old screw drive opener with a belt drive.
Oh, how quiet this performs! I find myself looking at the door to make sure it is closing when I am inside because it is so quiet. I don't hear the operator, I hear the door panels and roller. The car transmitter range has more than doubled. I have already used the battery backup because of a storm related power outage. None of my neighbors could open their doors with their operator without electricity.
Those reviewers who complain about a 5 piece rail instead of a stronger one piece can't carry the one-piece rail home from a store in the trunk of their car. Those who complain about the latest technology in radio controls coming with their new unit not working with their out-dated car controls don't understand that many of these radio changes are due to government regulation and personal safety. The "standard" height garage door is still 7" in height. If one wants to open a door 8 feet high, one should perform due diligence before their purchase.
I can remember when door openers would wear out in 5 years or less. I expect this operator to give me even more than the 12 years of service my previous operator gave to me.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Richard Chamberlan Customer Service
If you need help from Chamberlin forget about it. I have called 10 times on a bran new professionally installed unit because of a manufacture defect. Their customer service team just reads from a script and cannot think outside the box to help resolve the issue. Also note that labor is not included in the warrantee. If you have to replace the logic board or any internal components you are on your own. Also wont send you a replacement unit just parts.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by fibbermac Whisper Drive lives up to its name.
I needed a replacement garage door opener when the chain broke on the existing unit. I chose this model because of the oversized motor (3/4 hp) and the name "Whisper Drive", hoping for something less noisy than the one it was replacing.
It has been in place for a couple weeks now and it works like a champ. The motor makes less noise than the door itself!
All I wanted has a basic door opener. So I didn't mind that this model doesn't come with the outdoor keypad entry. Also, I've read other reviews that mention trouble with the feature that syncs to a car directly (MyQ), but I don't use that function either.
The installation went smoothly, but the installation instructions would benefit from a few more pictures for guys like me who aren't too handy.
Overall, I'm very pleased with this unit. I got exactly what I wanted.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by BobM Has a mind of its own
This product worked great for a few months.
Then it got a mind of its own. It started opening and closing randomly.
Sometimes it would start closing while we were standing near by... with no warnings like it has when the timer goes off.
Also, we would come home and the door would be open or half open.
Also, I would be sitting on the steps waiting for my wife and it would just start going up and down. Up a couple of feet, stop, back down a bit... up again. Like some crazy person had the controls.
Of course, it is completely random. You never know when it might do it... or stop doing it.
The service guy came out and said he could not see anything wrong... and left. I guess he didn't believe me.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Dave Do not believe the box
I am extremely dissatisfied with this garage door opener. I specifically purchased this model because it was "home link" compatible. After installing, when I went to program the opener to my vehicle, it did not work.
After a frustrating call to their customer service department I find out that for it to work with my vehicle I must purchase another accessory. Oh, and it will cost an additional $25! Their answer is simply that the "home link" DOES work but you need the accessory. I now feel I was duped into spending extra money for no additional features and wish I would have gone with a less expensive competitor's model.

I've done a lot of research, read a lot of comments and reviews; and I don't understand what is so difficult about this. Installation is a piece of cake. Not hard at all. Everthing works great if you do what they say. If you have an older vehicle you may need a repeater to work with Homelink. It's very quiet, works with all the accessories, couldn't be easier to program. The absolute best garage door opener I've ever owned. Pay attention, follow the steps, It's great.
Couldn't be happier about it. I have the in-house monitor, interior and exterior remote lights, Homelink in my car. No problem, great unit!
