Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by DC802 Very nice opener
Great price via the Deal of the Day and home delivery. Like the sensor that turns light on as someone walks near - helpful in a dark garage.
Took a point off because the lens covers do not stay up - design flaw. Had to put small tape to hold in place.
Other than that, works well, looks fine.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by gackdeux Won't work near military bases, Cell phone towers, or wireless electrical meters.
I purchased this and now I am being told by Chamberlain that I have to invest an additional $200 in the myQ system because their openers won't work near military bases, Cell phone towers, or the new wireless electrical meters. They do not disclose any of this in their advertisements or in their manuals.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Mac70 Works great and is super quiet.
Easy to install even in below zero cold. Adjustments are easily accessible. We have two openers side by side. One for the front garage door and one for the rear garage door. Had to remove the light cover to allow them to fit together. Would recommend to a friend.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Mike Great value; it comes with all the bells & whistles!
Great service, the product was shipped free directly to my home, which I received within two days of the order. Home Depot contracted a very reputable local company to install the opener at a very reasonable price. I couldn't be more satisfied with this purchase and transaction.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by AAHill Nice Opener - Easy Install
It's not very often I take the time to write a review, but this was a more complicated project that most people debate on whether or not to do themselves, so it's appropriate.
My situation: Detached, 2-car Garage with a 16' wooden door. Replacing an old/broken opener.
If I were to focus on the actual install of just the opener for my garage door, I'd agree with the other reviewers and say it's a 5-6 hour project. This assumes the installer is moderately handy and has no other prep-work.
For me - it took about 10 hours total. This included a run to my local box store to grab supplies, figuring out how to balance the garage door, lube all moving parts, remove old opener and hardware, remove/replace old joists in my unfinished garage ceiling.
On to the install. The directions were very good - no real issues except for me occasionally jumping ahead and doing something too soon. No real need for a second set of hands either. You should be able to mount/hang everything with the use of a chair, step stool and/or step ladder. Be creative.
The only issue I had with any of the parts was actually with an accessory. The cable used on the quick-release lock (7702CB) is really short. My garage door already had an old one in place (no key though) at about waist-level. The cable was a good 12-16" too short to reach the trolley release.
As for the programming, no issues with the two remotes that came with the unit, or the secondary wireless control panel we're using on the inside of the house (Liftmaster 378LM). However, we have a 2005 Acura MDX with "Homelink" that struggled to connect with the 2.0+ rolling security codes. After LOTS of searching online and trying multiple methods, I finally got it connected. Better directions in the manual would be appreciated.
TIP# 1 - When running your wires for the safety sensors and the control panel, tap your staples in just enough to keep them in place. I found it extremely helpful to leave a gap where I could route some of the wires together back to the opener unit using the same staples. Don't pound them in until you're completely done and everything works... and be very careful NOT to pound them in too much where they could pinch or damage the wire.
TIP #2 - Don't jump ahead on the directions ;-)

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by ChicagoGuyNorthside Good Basic Opener
The double-wide garage door opener that came with our house died on January 1 this year. Couple days later I installed a PD752DS 3/4. Instructions are pretty straight forward, I'm relatively handy, but have never done a garage door opener before.
The install was straightforward, instructions were easy to follow. Between removing the existing opener and installing the replacement it was about a 5-6 hour job, most of the time spent looking for this tool or that (no exotic tools needed, but a socket wrench with an extender was a life saver).
Operationally, the door seems so much more quieter, even though it's a detached garage that's not an issue for us. The speed is much quicker than what were were used to and the range of the remote is easily 2x longer - I can open the door coming off the street (into an alley), about 200' 6 or 7 30' wide lots away.
It's been in about a month, no issues/problems - let's see if it can last a couple of decades!!
