Yes, when door is opened with the unit you can hit the enter button and it will close. The instructions do say that this function does not work will all models. According to the instructions, this function shouldn't work with my model but it does

Answer:
Thank you for your question Bud. The model 940EV Wireless Keyless entry does have the One Button close feature. This feature can be deactivated or activated by following directions on the included instruction manual. However, the One Button close feature cannot be activated on garage door openers made prior to 2006, or when programming to an external receiver.

Hello Deedee, and thank you for your question. Marantec uses a proprietary system for their remote controls and garage door openers, and the system is not compatible any Chamberlain manufactured product.

Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 109 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by I could not get this key pad to program to my brand new Chamberlain garage door opener. I returned it and bought the Chamberlain Universal which programmed right away and works perfect. It's also better protected from the outside elements than this remote. October 30, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Worth the money Use the instructions inside the control unit cover not enclosed paper instructions.Works well, easy hanging up. October 11, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great easy access remote Easy installation via simple to follow instructions! October 5, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by nice keyless garage opener very easy to installed.only took 10 minutes to program it. like the option of one button( ENTER) hit closure. keypad lit up after you hit first button. works with my LIFTMASTER garage opener installed in 2014 September 22, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice and easy Took a total of 15 minutes to program it and mount it on my garage. Very easy to program and really like being able to hit just the enter key to close the garage door. You can even assign it a temporary pin - pretty good security on it. I knocked off a star for the value because it was kinda pricey - about 10 bucks more than a universal one. Bought this one because I was using this with a Chamberlain lift-master opener. August 16, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works great with my 1996 1/2 HP Liftmaster Pro Purchased 2 units for separate operation of two door garage having two 1996 Lift-Master 1/2HP Pro openers. Had both units programed and installed in under 30min. Recommend using provided programming instructions from box and programing unit near garage opener for good signal communication prior to mounting. August 26, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Garage Door Opener Now the garage has become more versatile as we use it more and more, before we had to keep taking shoes off and going through the house. When in use in the evening the key pad lights to illuminate the screen. Good Investment July 26, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Easy device! So glad a friend talked me into getting this. Accessing the garage is simple now - I don't have to worry about locking myself out. Easy to hang. Directions for setting up the PIN, however, were not clear. But I found a video on Youtube that walked me through the process. There were 2 key steps missing in the directions: the garage door had to be closed, and the device had to be in the garage. July 29, 2016
