Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by JustinCrediable It states on home depot website works with all chamberlain openers. Not true it will not work on the newer My Q openers, After a call to Chamberlain to find the right, one.home depot does not show the button that works with the new openers. I had to buy one direct from chamberlain. and return this one.

Super easy replacement for a 20 year old control pad. Motion sensor on this unit eliminates the need to turn the garage opener light on and off. All automatic. Sweet.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by DS Not "Universal"
I bought this unit for the motion sensor capability and that it is labeled to work with all Chamberlain openers built after 1992. Well it does not work with the Chamberlain garage door opener that I bought from Home Depot 2 years ago Model number HD420EV. I bought two of these control panels and the one I installed at home (different Chamberlain opener) the new control panel works perfectly. I think this is a good product if it is compatible but it is NOT universal.

Had a Craftsman motion sensor opener control go out. Wired existing white and red wires to new control. Two minute install at less than half the price of the Craftsman replacement!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by jb5308 easy install, mostly
I bought this to replace the switch on the wall that was installed with the opener when my condo was built. I had to fumble for the light switch when walking into the garage. I chose this one for the motion detecting functionality. It works with the existing wiring so the simple process was detach the original and replace it with this one. However the switch to turn off the auto on/off is on the right hand side of the component. The original unit was mounted right next to the door frame, making it nearly impossible to use the switch once it was installed. I had to add a low power box along the stud to mount it so that I could access the switch. Not a huge deal and I already had the box. Now when I open the door the light turns on automagically.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by GarageOpener defective and did not work. Although this is what was recommended, it is the wrong product for my application.
I was directed to purchase this garage door opener for the door I purchased but it was the wrong application and did not work. I am not able to review how well it works.
