sensor will not work parameters stated in sells write up. 15ft plus. what a laugh even with changing switch positions. sounds almost silent when triggered, would be missed if any noise exists in home at same time, like TV on low sound, or RADIO.
believe the local garbage dump is the best place to relocate/install the device.
the instructions tell about possible metal interference with units ability to work, but not the advertisement. would not have thought a metal fence or metal window frame or metal door would have killed the reception. My fault for purchase, without more research.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by 12345 Good strong alert signal!
Some reviews indicated the alert signal was not loud enough. I strongly disagree. With the vol. turned up high & alert placed in the middle of the house, the alarm can be heard from both ends of my 3300 sq ft one story spread out house, even with the tv's on. The frequency is high & perhaps the people that have difficulty hearing the signal may have a what is called noise induced hearing loss which occurs in the higher frequencies and also occurs with natural aging. I'm not being faciscious as I am a Speech and Language Pathologist. Also the sensor is on the exterior side of my 7" iron & wooden driveway gate more than 40' from the garage, yet the signal easily reaches the interior of my house. I give this a 5 star product.

For the most part, works exactly as advertised, as you can see we mounted it within a shelter....reason for less than perfect rating is occasionally the sensor doesn't sense! Beeping alert is of nominal volume, probably wouldn't be heard if mounted in workshop, mounted in office, volume is satisfactory.
Would guesstimate efficiency at around 94%. Curious to see how it fares this winter.....all in all, a good purchase.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Randy Chamberlain Motion Sensor with Wireless Motion Alert
Tired of those pesky raccoons stealing hundreds of dollars of bird seed?
The Chamberlain Motion Sensor will solve the problem.
Purchased the system two months ago with an extra sensor and have had nothing but success with the system.
Follow the instructions they are accurate and to the point.
Sensors have two programming switches inside, switch 1 is 15 or 30 feet Detection Range, switch 2 is Low or High sensitivity. You want High sensitivity for raccoon detection.
What you do with the raccoons is up to you, mine don’t like being treed with a garden hose and given a good bath…

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Al68 Motion sensor with wireless alert works well
The systems was easy to install. I use the system to monitor the driveway and entryway at the office. Placement is important. I found the motion sensors should be placed such that vehicle or persons are moving toward or away from the sensor, not perpendicular to the sensor for the sensor to react. Another important note is the wireless alert is loud. I have the alert on my desk and may need to move it. The alert volume setting goes from silent to loud to louder. Another note is the alert is continuous as long as there is motion detected, the constant loud beeping may be disturbing to some. Overall I have found the system worthwhile and appreciate knowing when someone is driving down the driveway to the parking lot or approaching the door. Prior to using the system someone at the door was sometimes a surprise...nevermore.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by JahnBoy813 Does the job
Have it at the beginning of the driveway to let me know when someone come up to the house. Got another sensor at the top and where people park. Live in the North East so I need to use lithium batteries. You need to play with it a while to see what is the best angle to place it.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by jjnewell Works as advertised. A good product to monitor those remote areas.
Our dreiveway winds down off a ridgeline where our home is located. Where it enters the main road is invisible from the house. The product provides an early warning for vehicles entering our driveway that may be approaching the house so we are prespared to see the vehicle as it approaches the ridgeline.
