Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Bobo Really Good So Far
This is a great product so far. The real test for the quality and value is time; it should last at least a couple years without any issues and we have only had it up for a few months. So far it works great and is very quiet. It was pretty easy to install. Just keep in mind I think instructions are used for several models so illustrations etc sometimes not great. We had to do a temporary repair of our ceiling to install ours but I think actual install of just the door opener took about what most people say at about 4 hours.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Mopar Easy retro fit !
I am very pleased with this unit. I went from and older 1/3 h.p.to the 1/2 h.p. I was expecting some problems but it was a snap. I had to make just a few minor adjustments to the door travel but the easy access to travel controls on the side of assembly were a breeze. If I had to say anything to improve this package would be to have two (2) remote controls. Great value!
My friend Ron from VFW that helped me install this unit was so impressed that he is getting one also.

This is for a single garage door. I compared prices and found HOMEDEPOT gave the best price. Installation was arranged by HOMEDEPOT. For this low price I got everything, plus a master switch and 2 sensors instaled plust one remote for the car. Serves my purpose. Thanks!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Autobroker Great opener for the money.
I bought two of these for my rentals. Installation is super easy - just follow the instructions. Choose the place you want to mount the anchor (over the door) and bolt it in. Hook up the rails and the opener unit, then pivot the opener up and let it sit on a ladder. Install the brackets to the rafters, then install the opener to the brackets. Adjust the opener (limit switches), install the trip beam and the push button. Put batteries in the openers and that's it!
About an hour to 1 1/2 hour install job.
Both of these have been great for our tenants. No problems and they keep working. I know that the tenants are rough on things and these openers continue to work.
I highly recommend buying one of these if you need a durable garage door opener, but you don't want to spend too much money.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by BC1967 One worked good.
Bought two of these units for a new garage I had built. Installed them and everything seemed to work good until the first time I returned home and the one door would not open with the remote. Entered the garage through the service door and the opener worked fine with the wall button. Tried the other remote I had for that opener and found that it would not operate the opener either if I was outside of the garage.
Called Chamberlain and they diagnosed the problem as a faulty receiver board and mailed me a replacement board, which I haven't received yet. Hopefully that will solve my problem.
The other opener works great with no issues.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by BigG Great for 10' tall shop doors
Installed 2 of these units on my 12' wide x 10' tall rollup shop doors. Ordered the extension kit for the 10' high doors (make sure to get the one for the chain drive, not the belt drive) The kit includes a longer chain, 2 longer pieces of square tubing, and instructions. When running the units for the first time, you just need to adjust the amount the doors open. They are preset for a standard garage 7' height. It's easy to do. Just turn the adjustment knob on the side of the unit in the direction show with arrows on the side of the motor unit. Total time to install was about 4 hours each unit (lots of up and down on the ladder for the 10' high doors) They work great. My wife loves them.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by dressageman Super opener at a fine price point
Bought four of these openers for my barn doors. Three doors are 10 feet high and one is 8 feet high. Bought the extension kits to accomodate the higher door height. These openers are powerful and very quiet. Had a Chamberlain Liftmaster Professional series installed on one door and it is much noisier and rough. This opener works better than the professionally installed Liftmaster and is quieter and A LOT CHEAPER. It is a great deal. The extension kits should include additional bell wire which you will need to buy if your door is higher than 8 feet. Also you'll need additional length hanging brackets for higher ceilings.
