Answer:
You can find directions on line or call and they may walk you through the process. They may also be posted on the controlling unit mounted in the garage. But for the light control, just did this myself again, hold the light control button (tiny next to led light bulb) until it flashes and then activate the remote controller; you should hear the light control click on/off. Rated 2.0 out of 5 by 3 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Wrong Remote I bought a remote switch for my detatched garage lights and the website suggested this remote. Thought a spare might be a good idea and bought it . Wrong!!!!! It doesn't work with the switch and doesn't cost enough to pay freight and go thru the hassle to return. Live and learn. February 10, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Easy to "pair" control with remote switch. Easy to program between light control and remote by "pairing"; I set two light controls to a single three-button key fob remote and then my car's built-in garage controller. Quite easy to set and use. March 13, 2012
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by didn't work didn't work incompatible, had to look else where for one that worked. September 14, 2011
