I noticed that 20lb and 30lb LP tanks can be used with this generator, Can 15lb LP tanks be used?

Asked by: Robert
As long as your 15lb propane tank uses the same fittings as a standard 20 or 30lb propane tank, then the included regulator and supply hose will fit, allowing this tank to be used.

Customer Reviews

6,000-Watt LPG Clean Burning Electric Start Portable Propane Generator is rated 3.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor quality We purchased this generator for two main reasons...the propane power option and the electric start option. Straight out of the box...this generator is ridiculously difficult to start. We have yet to even get it started with the electric start option. We were able to start it by pull-starting it but that took a ridiculous amount of attempts. The electric start was appealing because there is no way I will be able to pull start it on my own in the event of a power outage occurring while my husband is at work. The one time we did get it started it worked well but not being able to use the electric start and the amount of effort needed to pull-start it make this a poor product. I would not recommend purchasing it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pleased so far. Ordered 3/14/15. Made it to store 3/24/15. Picked up 3/25/15. Assembled 3/26/15. Started it up and ran it 3/27/15 and checked to see that it would produce electricity. I had researched it before the purchase and am pleased so far. Assembly was easy. Appears to be well made. Plan to use it to power lights and tools in my barn and us on house in the event of an extended power outage.
