Omni Directional Smart Indoor/Outdoor Antenna is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Antenna Works Great and Easy to Mount I live 40 miles from the broadcast towers in my area. Mounted the antenna on the side of my house and used a CM-7778 preamplifier to boost my signals. I pull in the Channels from my area as well as another major city over 60 miles away. I had tried several other antenna's and never was able to pull in channel from the other city.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One that works I've bought leaf antennas and other "scams" to get free HDTV and the only thing I received was a lighter wallet. Cable company has recently gone all digital which was excuse to require a box for each TV set. Use this one indoors and was able to pick up twenty plus channels to include the three major networks and PBS which was what I had hoped for. Picture as clear as one received through cable box. It took a bit of repositioning and I added a 15 dollar amplifier to reduce pixelation and now happy camper. Worth a try at least.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solved a tricky problem... I live in an apartment which has a serious problem with inside antennas: Most off our dozen or so stations, including the VHF CBS/CW affiliate, are in one direction, but the PBS carrier, also VHF, is 80-degrees off, and twice as far away. Most antennas, especially those with "rabbit ears", could never reliably pick up both VHF stations without reorientation, even with amplification. I was pleasantly surprised that when I assembled the antenna, and plugged it into the set, nearly all the stations popped in immediately. Simply by putting it near a nearby window, ALL the stations came in fine, without having to "aim" the antenna in any direction. Just a few caveats: 1. I don't know if the cool pedestal shown in the picture came with an earlier version, or a newer one, but mine just arrived with four small feet (plus hardware for external mounting). 2. A lot of flat antennas are promoted as being easy to hang up and hide-in-plain-sight; this one only works properly horizontally. If you cannot find a place to set or mount this in a horizontal position, preferably near an outside wall, you may get unsatisfactory results. 3. This antenna is omnidirectional, which also means nondirectional; you can’t “aim” this antenna for better reception. If location and elevation doesn’t cure your problems, you may to get another antenna, or consider moving it outside.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great antenna, easy installation! This antenna arrived quickly and was well packaged. It was very easy to install. It took about an hour total to mount the antenna to the edge of my roof, run the cable and get everything hooked up. The reception is amazing!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from for outdoor use mainly this antenna didn't' work inside very well at all probably would be. oK outside on a roof, but no advantage to any other outdoor antenna.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from good enough It works just like the old school antenna's. I have to re-position it depending on which channels I'm trying to watch. Other than that it works fine and does what it's supposed to do.
