Product Overview

The Channellock revolutionized linemen's pliers with the added benefit of Xtreme Leverage Technology (XLT). XLT positions the rivet closer to the cutting edge so considerably less force is required to cut than other High Leverage designs. The combination of XLT and laser heat-treated cutting edges makes this tool a must have for any toolbox.

The 369 9" Linemens plier is our most popular model. It would certainly accommodate daily use in HVAC and also Electrical/Construction applications. It contains our most advanced cutting technology adding ease of cut and longevity to this hand tool.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Lineman pliers Nine inch length provides plenty of leverage to cut through thick wire and even double strand barbwire October 12, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Made in the USA I have quite a few of these tools and they never disappoint. Great materials, quality workmanship, and made in America; can't beat them. You want the best tools for your money? Look no further than ChannelLock! August 18, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wire Pliers less expensive than Kleins but a good wire plier for the money December 10, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Outstanding American made pliers My Dad used Channel Locks for many years and I continued the tradition. They are well made, dependable and last a life time under normal usage (I have a pair of Channel Lock's my Dad gave me 50 years ago. I don't know how long he had them before he gave them to me but they were well used! I have used them since receiving them and will pass them to my son one of these days. Icing on the cake is they are made in America! August 18, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by channellock pliers Great price, great tool! Made in America. September 20, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love them! For the price and the work I do with them. Not just Electrical work, bang on them, even building a chain link fence until I got my channel lock fence tool.. these pliers have yet to let me down and I have been using them for 2 years now. Why bother burning another 20 or so bucks on something that does the same thing. December 12, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good pliers They really do give much better leverage than kleins however my pair did suffer from an issue that one of my pairs of kleins did as well the pivoit pin started free spinning which makes them a little stiffer than a new pair of kleins but still much less force than the kleins that did the same. sometimes those took two hands to open or close until the pin pivoited back. My biggest complaint is the lack of substantial insulation on the handles for those of us with bigger hands but plastidip does help with that for a while at least. January 27, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Do not waste your money! Just buy Kl**ns! I bought these in hopes to have a different feel to my linemans than the Kl**n equivalent ( really not even in the same playing field). After less than three months use I noticed the cutters were not cutting through wires completely. By the fourth month of use there was more than 1/16" gap between the actual teeth. I cant even grab a piece of 14 gauge bare copper with the pliers! I am an electrician, and yes I use those pliers everyday countless times. And yes I am a bit rough on my tools. However I have Kl**ns that I have cut live wires with. They have chunks missing out of the cutters but the pliers work just fine. I have Kl**ns that i have cut 1/4" all thread with and never have i had the pliers separate. I would even dare to suggest you buy the Commercial Electric brand (or whatever Home Depot equivalent).
