Yes this grill does come woth a second shelf that mounts about 4 inches above the primary grill shelf. I had a 4 burner Kennmore and it didn't last long, and I had to hva parts made for it because Sears didn't have replacement parts for it. My new grill is very user friendly and works great, I'm glad I purchased this grill.

Nope! Approx 2 hrs for assembly (even though book say 45 minutes/it took that long just to open and sort out the pieces). It is easy to assemble but lots to do and it just needs to be followed very closely in order not to have to back track.

Answer:
No, actually comes with quite a lot of parts and somewhat low quality instructions. With a crecent wrench, phillips screw driver, some patients and a lot of time. Most people can eventually assemble this Grill. One finished it is of prety good design and quality. I call the instructions low quality because they get the job done, but they are at times a little confusing.

NO! It comes in a box containing a booklet of instructions and a zillion pieces. My husband is very skilled with tools and it took him a solid 3 1/2 to put this baby together. All the parts were there and the instructions were "okay" but it's not for everyone.

No, it does not. It has, what seems like, 100 pieces to put together. I think the instructions list about 25 steps to getting everything together, and in each instruction are multiple, smaller instructions.

No it does not. You can get one from your local home depot store. I measured out the grill size and purchased a generic grill cover that can accommodate a grill up to 65". The measurements of the grill itself are about 63" wide and 24" deep.

2-Burner Classic Propane Gas Grill with Side Burner is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 226.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty good grill For some, assembly might be a nightmare. For me, it was a fun project. The instructions aren't the best, but they're pretty good. You just REALLY have to pay close attention to the details. Don't skip ahead at all. It took me about 3 hours, but I can definitely see why so many people complain about the assembly. Some of the structural pieces are a little weak. It's kind of rickety, but not terrible. I foresee having to tighten up screws every year or so. As far as its grilling abilities, it's great! It's very consistent. I recommend installing a thermometer on the lid. Overall, it's definitely worth the money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great value It took a while to put the pieces together but once it was up it looked great. It's a medium-sized grill that's great for small patios. The cooking space is great, though the heat seemed to be uneven. I was able to place around 8-10 hamburger patties along with hot dogs and carne asada and placing them strategically on the grill resulted in perfection. There is also a top great for toasting bread or tortillas. The side burner helped to cook up the shrimp before slapping them on the grill.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good grill for the money. I have had this grill for a little over a year now. I have used it quite frequently over the last year, enough to go through multiple propane tanks. It has always been uncovered outside and I think that it has held up very well over the year. The only problem with it is the ignition switch broke the second time I used it. I tried to fix it but only damaged it worse. Not a big deal though as all I did was went out and bought a grill lighter for a couple of dollars and it lights up fine every time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect grill for summer entertaining This grill is perfect, and it grills foods nicely. We have already used it to grill hot dogs, steaks, pork ribs, peppers, and corn. The side burner works wonderfully, as opposed to our old one which would blow out with the wind, and then it eventually stopped working all together. There is plenty of cooking space, and a top rack for baking potatoes, etc. We have used it several times already, and it does a great job. Assembly took us awhile, though, about one afternoon and into the evening. This grill came with an email coupon for a free tank of propane as well, which was a nice surprise.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Value I read many reviews for this grill before purchase, so went into it knowing that it would take some assembly. I actually found this at another retailer on sale and purchased it, even given the condition of the floor model (are you kidding me?...how do you even put it together like that?). I am thinking that I am probably going to take more pride in my job than that person. Very impressed with the packaging AND the directions...have they changed those since many past reviews?,,,I don't know. It took me a little over two hours to assemble solo...cooked with it immediately...wow...I don't know what people want from a 100 dollar grill, but this one far exceeded all of my expectations.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great grill for the money. I had mine shipped to my local store after purchasing it online. They put it together for me. Great grill for the $$, Cooks well. I have had many charbroils and also a good value. I do clean mine often, keep the grates clean and seasoned. Just take care of it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from OK for the price but not very durable Bought this BBQ about two years ago but now have to buy a new grill. The part that's between the open flame and the grill has completely deteriorated; the metal is flaking and falling off in chunks. Since that's what protects the food from the open flame, we've got a limited area to cook, trying to avoid the holes, otherwise your food gets scorched. On the inside of the lid the paint is peeling and flaking off. We kept it covered so not sure why it's deteriorating so much. Pros: Was very glad to have a gas BBQ and it seemed like a good price. The metal grate (where you put the food) is in perfect shape, no rust or deterioration. And hey, it is an inexpensive grill; we were new to gas grilling and weren't sure if we would use it very often. Cons: Extremely difficult to assemble, try to get the store to do it for you. Auto-ignition stopped working after about a month. Even when it was new, the heat was very uneven--very hot in the middle, and very cool towards the edge. We could only use about the middle 1/3 of the grate. Also, no propane gauge; easy to run out of propane a couple of times in the middle of cooking.
Date published: 2013-05-16
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Did just fine It did take a little time to put together, but for three years it served my family well. Never had a single problem with the burners or ignition system. Always provided excellent heat and was reliable. The only con was that the grill started to show its age near the end and some components began to rust through, definitely could have gotten 4 trouble free seasons though. I think I payed 100.00 dollars for it when purchased and "we got our moneys worth."
