To assist with smoking sausage in this Char-Broil Vertical Gas Smoker I would recommend the Kabob Holder for The Big Easy. Please follow this link for more information... http://www.charbroil.com/grilling-smoking-accessories/the-big-easy-accessories/kabob-holder-for-the-big-easy.html

Answer:
This Char-Broil Vertical Gas Smoker measures 21.5" L x 19.5" D x 44" H. I apologize, but we are not sure of the largest turkey that would be abe to fit in this unit. To best cook a turkey we would recommend one of our Big Easy models. Please take a look at models 12101550, 12101480 and 12101625.

44 in. Vertical Propane Gas Smoker is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 35.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Dissapointed Bought this two days ago, assembled it and decided I would keep this thin walled un insulated smoker and modify it for the harsh michigan winter. Unfortunately I threw some wood chips in her and fired it up, temps reached 375 impressive and the low flame is perfect for the slow and low guys/gals, then came the smoke. I smoke in the garage with a outside chimney attached to a flue so smoke passively rises up and out. The chimney sits above the smoker about 2ft. So no direct attachment. But ....most my smoke never even rose upwards, nope, just poured right out all along the door seal. There is no seal around the door just steel on steel. Tighest fit by hinges the as measured 1/8 gap opposite of hinges. Sigh why not throw a 5 buck gasket kit on the door? Not to big of issue but come winter the heat loss will be much greater costing more in fuel to keep it regulated. As it is, I will have to get a heating blanket or use fireboard around it to even out temps this winter but the door I can't and now the door leaks like a sieve...dissapointed

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I am sure it works great , since I have a very similar product from Smoky Hollow , without the benefiting feature of the bottom drawer that saves the heat while adding chips or just checking when more will be needed. But what I found very surprising that this is your company site, trying to promote your own product, yet you are so skimpy to provide more pictures of inside. How many shelves, hooks, shape of water pan, and if charcoal pan is perforated as it should. When you sell online, you need to give a potential buyer idea what is he fixing to pull a trigger on and how you compare with the competition. And those pictures cost you nothing.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice cheap gasser After wrapping with fiberglass blankets, the gasser will run at 225, sometimes hotter when the water runs dry. I do use a 9 x 14 pan on the bottom shelf to hydrate the smoker instead of the "bowl" down with the chips. The middle bowl dries up quickly, so not useful to keep your smoked good moist. The lack of racks, and the cost of additional racks (the smoker comes with 3) is a problem. I scavenged two racks from a kenmore smoker to bring the number to 5 - so I can use 1 for the water pan and cook on the other 4. That's 4 briskets or 4 whole boston butts, more than the original smoker is capable of.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poorly designed This smoker is very poorly designed. First off the thermostat is off by about 50 - 75 degrees, critical when you are smoking. The biggest design flaw is the water pan. It sits too close to the burner, is only an inch deep and the wood reservoir is so small that if you are smoking several pieces of meat the smoke flavor is mild at best. You have to add water to the pan every half hour at least and if you have wood chunks in the "drawer" you can't access it to add water without opening the upright door which then lets all you smoke out. My previous smoker was a very inexpensive model that I got from Wal-mart and it ran circles around this one. Don't waste your money this product is junk!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from WORTH THE MONEY!!! BEGINNER AT SMOKING YET I DOVE RIGHT IN WITH 3 RACKS OF RIBS AND A PORK LOIN. 6 HRS. LATER THE VICTIMS I INVITED OVER FOR DINER WERE OVERWHELMED BY THE RESULTS. TASTY AND JUICY WITH A PERFECT SMOKE RING IS WHAT THEY GOT. VERY EASY TO USE. YOU'LL GET GREAT RESULTS KNOWING THAT SMOKING REQUIRES PATIENCE. THE CLEANUP WAS VERY EASY AS THE GRILLS WERE WASHED WITH JUST SOAP AND WATER. CONSTANT MONITORING OF THE WATER LEVEL IS A NECESSITY. SECOND ATTEMPT WAS THE FRESH KIELBASI I MADE. HUNG THE RINGS ON A WOOD DOWEL ACROSS THE SMOKER AND THEY CAME OUT GREAT. CAN'T WAIT TO TRY THE SALMON AND WHITING ON JULY 4TH.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from works great!!!! Had this model for just over a year now, and had great success. Done ribs, pork loin, pork shoulder, and recently smoked whole Mackerel. WOW!! that was fantastic!!! Temp control is easy and lots of room inside. two doors make access to liquid and woodchips a breeze without having to open main door. I would definately recommend this product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I love my Smoker but... The only problem I have is the combo chip & water pan. Not sure who came up with this bright idea, but it is a waste. Since you combine the water and the wood in one pan on top of direct heat it makes you keep filling both frequently, as they burn up/dry up quickly. They need to be two separate pans, wood over the direct heat and the water over the wood so that is over indirect heat. Give me two pans that are deep enough that I can fill up with plenty of wood and around 2 quarts of water so I do some serious smoking instead of steaming my meat. Would I recommend your smoker? No not until you change the pans, then yes I would.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Overall good product. Do not like the combination of water and chip/smoker container as well as the previous model with separate water pan and cast iron chip/smoker box. Water evaporates rapidly, making it harder to maintain constant temp. Do like the separate tray so that you do not have to open main door and lose heat
