Bought from Home Depot's website deal of the day. Very pleased with customer service. Was thought to take 10 days to be delivered, but came in & was assembled (free) in three.
No complaints so far. Have been using twice a week since purchased in Dec 2015. Able to do so in pleasant sunny Ca.... Igniter starts right up. Temp gauge is working properly. Igniter battery has been changed once, and had to refill gas cylinder once.
Middle portion of grill tends to get hotter than others, even when adjusting knobs. Not a complaint, just a note.
Only complaint I have is the not so "easy turning" wheels. But other than that, everything is functioning as it should.
Still miss the taste of a charcoal grill, but this gas grill is great for us folks in high fire danger zones here in Cali.
This is ideally a $500 grill. But caught it for way cheaper thanks to Home Depot's "deal of the day" email subscription. Thanks Home Depot.

The grill wasn't overly difficult to assemble. Like the size and cooking area. However, the back of the grill seems to be the only place where meat (or anything) seems to cook. You have to constantly rotate your food around to get direct heat found at the back of the grill. Anything placed near the front of the grill will not cook. After 20 minutes with gas on high I was still able to place my hand over the front of the grill and it was just warm.

They make the outside out of nice stainless so it looks nice but inside the firebox if made of the cheapest material possible. Most people won't inspect the fire box but if you look in the cabinet and look up you'll see the firebox is rusted out. Poor quality, I'll never buy another Char-broil again. I complained to Char-broil and they offered me 10% of another one.

I purchase the grill and it's two years old. I have cleaned it each time and kept covered. When I went to open it for Spring I noticed that the bottom of the fire box was completely rusted. It is actually the tray part that slides out. I was still under warranty and contacting them. The lady was very helpful and after I took pictures and sent her they sent me a new fire box. Of course this means I have to take basically the grill apart to install. I did this and noticed that the bottom tray that slides into the firebox was not replaced. It was clear in the pictures that was what needed replaced the most. I've contacted them again and no reply. I've even used my first compliant reference number. Now I have a grill with no bottom that is like new. If I purchase the tray (I've not check prices yet) I might as well do new burners and replace the ignition switch which went out within a year. No big deal because I can light a match. Still disappointing to spend the money and time.

It's cheaper to buy a new BBQ then it is to buy parts for the Char-Broil Classic 6 BBQ.
Brand new it was great, but after a year it has rusted out.
Not a happy customer!

I was initially looking for another Charbroil grill recommended by Consumer Reports. Once I found this I added it to my wish list at $299.00 which was $70.00 to a $100.00 below the original price. When the price dropped to $269.00 my order was placed. I had an idea it was going to be big, having 6 burners plus a side burner but it is really big, not a bad thing at all as I would rather have more than I need then not enough. I assembled the grill myself, as unassembled made it easier to transport. Assembly was easy and relatively pain free. Cooks like the more expensive grills leaving beautiful sear marks. So for the price and features you will not find a better grill.

I have had this grill for two years and the issues are constant and just keep coming. It was already put together in store. The first issue about 2 months in when one of the handles just popped off with a gentle tug. They are poorly tack welded on. Then three months in the center burner was the only one that would work. I would have to manually light the other burners. Then the heat/grease deflectors fell apart and I had to get new ones, those did not last either so I just cooked without them.
The stand that this grill is on, is a rust magnet. I kept the grill covered and cleaned it after every use and I went to move it yesterday and the entire bottom of the grill crumbled. The side shelf also rusted very badly.
This was a gift from my In-Laws and I had issues returning the grill and even parts of the grill since I was not the person who purchased the grill. HomeDepot Customer Service FAILED me on this issue.

We bought this for a demo. coffee roasting for the long weekend. Took longer then it should have show up, just in time, Box looked ok brought it home opened the box just to find a destoyed grill Ruined my coffee demo and weekend.Took Picture and sent to Char Broil Co. they said they will send out new parts and I have to change them. almost every panel was bent.Even the gas know console, and I am soposed to change it????? so much for a good long week end. and my time to change all the parts (NEVER AGAIN) THEY SHOULD SEND ME OUT A NEW ONE! (TO MY HOME AND STOP WASTING MY TIME.) Why should I have to go do all this my time is worth more then the grill.
