I have used the hickory chips on a few different items and the flavor has been great. They will definitely give the strong smokey flavor desired.

I received these when I ordered my first smoker. I'm not too experienced with smoking yet, but I can say that these wood chips made the ribs I smoked taste better than what I've always bought in restaurants!

I used these wood chips when smoking a Boston butt. I did not soak in water, instead put them in the smoke box dry. I got about 5 hours of good smoke then refilled the box with fresh chips. One refill for a 10 hour cook I thought was great!

I used the Hickory wood chips to smoke my first Turkey in the Deluxe Digital Electronic Smoker. I am not too familiar with smoking meats and at first I was a little nervous about the Turkey having an overpowering taste of Hickory. Fortunately that wasn't the case. The Turkey turned out great and had a really nice taste to it and it wasn't too overpowering. I also found it very easy to put the wood chips in the proper container and had no issues preparing the wood chips or cleaning them up afterwards. I would definitely smoke meats again using the Hickory wood chips!

Placed these inside of a double layer of foil after soaking them for an hour in water. Then placed it next to the Christmas turkey on my Weber gas grill...Yummy!
