This is great, the day it arrived I went out and bought a chicken to give it a try. I didn't have wood chips, so I used charcoal instead, I also used a creole butter injection and it turned out wonderful, the chicken was super moist. My only advice is to put foil in the bottom of the pan to make it easier to clean up and to prevent the food from sticking.
Following the instructions will help along with knowing the internal temp your food should be. Maybe the next thing I'll try is a pork roast or shoulder.

We found that this grill infuser is not big enough to accommodate larger cuts of poultry or meat. It is large enough for a small Cornish game hen, if that is all you want to cook on the grill. If you are cooking for only one or two people this may be the grill accessory suited for you. For any larger grilling jobs it falls short. On the plus side, it is easy to clean.

I'm always doubtful about BBQ gadgets so I wasn't expecting much from this one. It's not that big, but I was just able to squeeze in a 5 pound whole chicken. I stuffed it with onions and salt and pepper. I stuck it in the basket and covered. I put the whole thing in a hot BBQ at 500F. I lowered heat after about 15 minutes. No need to baste because of the lid, though maybe I'd take the lid off in the end to crisp the skin a bit. After about an hour and a half it was ready. It did get a little stuck in the basket so I'd use oil to help get it out. The chicken cooked perfectly with plenty of juice on the bottom of the pan. It was a tasty chicken. Cleanup was easy with hot water and soap.

We have been looking for a nice streamer for the grill. So far we made a pork roast with mojo as our liquid base. Preheated the grill for 15 minutes on hi. Placed the infuser on the grill for about 90 minutes, till the meat was at 160 degree’s. The pork came out nice and juicy. Looking forward to streaming some shrimp and veggie. One thing I did notice is the enamel finish is very poorly made….after washing most of the finish came off after the first time using it……..I made sure I sprayed the inside of the pan good, but starting to show signs of rust

Great BBQ accessory to have if you love smoked flavor and reluctant to invest in a full sized smoker. Too bad it is not recommended to use it in a regular oven. We used the infuser cooker on the Super Bowl day to make some Chicken wings and it worked really well. I simply added frozen chicken wings in the infuser for about 30 -40 minutes. Took them out and mixed the hot wings sauce and let cook for another 30 minutes. Got excellent flavorful well cooked wings. Next tested it out with salmon and got perfectly smoked Salmon. I love the infuser. It is convenient and does a great job.

I smoked a beef brisket on my gas grill with Char-Broil Grill Infuser. It came out fantastic.
•Here are some things I ran into while smoking
You have to start off the first 20 minutes on high which is different from traditional smoking.
I had a little difficulty getting my grill down to the 225 temp that was required. I was nervous that my brisket was going to be over done but it came out awesome. I will be using this again maybe for some ribs.
•Nice things about the infuser
The basket was big I fit a 2lb brisket inside
There is also a grate that can allow more room if needed
It fits nicely in the dishwasher and washes up nice
In case you are interested I used the Char-Broil mesquite chips to smoke with.

This sturdy cooker is made of durable porcelain coated steal. I used the cooker on Christmas day to grill and smoke a turkey breast for my family. I slow cooked it on the charcoal grill for several hours and it withstood the heat wonderfully. It didn't burn, the turkey breast was tender and juicy, and the heat from the grill didn't destroy the outer or inner coating of cooker.
It's nice to be able to place liquids and hickory in the cooker without it actually touching the meats or veggies when grilling, ultimately destroying the taste and texture. Everything is neatly compartmentalized for easy cooking and storage after usage. The cooker also cleans really easily. It's a must have and can be used in the over or on the grill. You will not be disappointed with Char-Broil Infusion Cooker.

I cooked a 5 pound chicken in the infuser with root beer on the bottom. I sprayed the whole thing with cooking spray to avoid sticking. I grilled on a propane grill for about an hour and a half around 275 degrees with low heat under and around the infuser. I took the lid off the last 15 minutes to give the skin a crisp. It turned out great. The meat was juicy and and cooked evenly. I am looking forward to trying other cuts of meat in it. Cleaned up easily
