This part may be stainless, but rusts and failed faster that the original. The legs rusted off in a couple of years. The burner is rusting through after 4 years. The Model number on the packing is model 6254 and PN3495858.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by never burner ok ....... delivery very bad........
this new burner is the exactly the same unit that needs replacing ... got about three years of service before the old one burned though ... stainless steel is used on only one side and corrodes in less than the 5 year Warranty claimed ........but It's still better than buying a whole new grill.

Should be close to 20,000 BTU. That should be plenty of heat to cook those steaks and burgers

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by JoeBus Well worth investment like my old barbecue replacing parts easy.
The replacement burner cost me under $40 and my grill works great. Was looking at newer grills still like the quality of the solidly built older models. My food cooks well and evenly with the new burner.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by emcreech Universal fit for larger grills with 2 venturis
There was some question about the dimensions for this unit. I found the equivalent product from the mfr. and got the info from them instead. This is an "H"-shaped burner, 17-3/4" long and 7" wide. (H-D had the best price.) Your grill cavity should be at least 1" greater than those dimensions at a height 1/2" above the floor.
This new burner saved me from having to buy a new grill.
The 4 legs are made of stainless steel, 1" high, with 3/4" on each end bent at right angles in opposite directions (kinda "Z"-shaped). They are adjustable in that they can be rotated to any angle in the horizontal plane, so as to avoid obstructions or vents in the grill bottom. I drilled holes in 2 of mine and secured the burner with SS screws & nuts to the bottom of the grill .
The 2 venturi tubes are made like metal clothes dryer vent hose, They stretch and can be formed to fit They are the standard (~3/4"?) diameter to slide over the jets, which are usually behind the flame control knobs. They come with clips to hold them in place. They come 7" long and can be stretched up to 11".
Burner works fine with evenly distributed blue flames. No yellow even on high, but yellow when set to Max for burn-off and lighting.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by u18bfan Online order a disapointment
Ordered this #6254 burner because the dimensions listed 23.5X7.850in.,however these are the dimensions of the PACKAGE! Burner actually measures 17.5X7.5in. Online ad said part had SS top and bottom, however the bottom is regular steel.
