Answer:
I apologize, but I am unable to find that model number in our system. Most of our model numbers begin with a 46 number. The dimensions for the H-Burner (2386254P) are 23.25”H x 7.89”W x 1.68”D. The Universal Replacement Bar Burner (8258376P) has dimensions of 19.5”H x 6.5”W x1.4”D. Both of these burners should have some room to adjust and hopefully fit your model.

Hello Cosmo, I’m Newf from the Home Depot’s how-to Community. Thank you for your question.
Your grill model number cannot be found in Char-Broil listings. I called Mike at Char-Broil and he told me that model numbers are usually 9 digits, starting with 46xxxxxxx.
In any event, a universal burner replacement often works just fine, as long as it physically fits inside the grill. It is best to match the new burner as closely as possible to the original in both size and shape. This H-Burner has dimensions of 23.25”H x 7.89”W x 1.68”D. The other burner you are looking at, 2386254P has dimensions of 19.5”H x 6.5”W x1.4”D.
I hope this helps,
Newf.

Answer:
BTU output is produced and regulated by the grill. This Universal H-Burner will not affect the gas output of your grill.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by pore quality should have kept receipt, 2 years and nothing but a pile of rust May 9, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Rusts through very fast This part may be stainless, but rusts and failed faster that the original. The legs rusted off in a couple of years. The burner is rusting through after 4 years. The Model number on the packing is model 6254 and PN3495858. August 10, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Burner BTU Should be close to 20,000 BTU. That should be plenty of heat to cook those steaks and burgers August 25, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by burner ok ....... delivery very bad........ this new burner is the exactly the same unit that needs replacing ... got about three years of service before the old one burned though ... stainless steel is used on only one side and corrodes in less than the 5 year Warranty claimed ........but It's still better than buying a whole new grill. April 8, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Well worth investment like my old barbecue replacing parts easy. The replacement burner cost me under $40 and my grill works great. Was looking at newer grills still like the quality of the solidly built older models. My food cooks well and evenly with the new burner. May 20, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Universal fit for larger grills with 2 venturis There was some question about the dimensions for this unit. I found the equivalent product from the mfr. and got the info from them instead. This is an "H"-shaped burner, 17-3/4" long and 7" wide. (H-D had the best price.) Your grill cavity should be at least 1" greater than those dimensions at a height 1/2" above the floor. This new burner saved me from having to buy a new grill. The 4 legs are made of stainless steel, 1" high, with 3/4" on each end bent at right angles in opposite directions (kinda "Z"-shaped). They are adjustable in that they can be rotated to any angle in the horizontal plane, so as to avoid obstructions or vents in the grill bottom. I drilled holes in 2 of mine and secured the burner with SS screws & nuts to the bottom of the grill . The 2 venturi tubes are made like metal clothes dryer vent hose, They stretch and can be formed to fit They are the standard (~3/4"?) diameter to slide over the jets, which are usually behind the flame control knobs. They come with clips to hold them in place. They come 7" long and can be stretched up to 11". Burner works fine with evenly distributed blue flames. No yellow even on high, but yellow when set to Max for burn-off and lighting. March 31, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Online order a disapointment Ordered this #6254 burner because the dimensions listed 23.5X7.850in.,however these are the dimensions of the PACKAGE! Burner actually measures 17.5X7.5in. Online ad said part had SS top and bottom, however the bottom is regular steel. April 19, 2013
