I was surprised at the quality of materials used for this grill. I am used to using the portable grills that rust out everywhere, I don't think that's going to be a problem with this one. Seems to be made with heavy duty metal. I did have a problem though, after the first use the regulator knob snapped. Home Depot and Char-Broil were great about rushing me a new one. I assume it was just a faulty part and not a rule of thumb. I would highly recommend buying the custom fit bag that is made for this. http://www.homedepot.com/p/Char-Broil-Grill2Go-X200-Carry-All-Case-12401735P/204074157?keyword=grill2go+x200+bag#.Umbm8tfD-M8.
I have included some pictures of the grill in the bag and the accessories the bag holds. This truly makes it a grab and go grill. My outdoor grill is also infrared and I love it. Very even heat distribution. There is also plenty of grilling space, easily makes enough for 5-6 people depending on what you're cooking. Could fit 3-4 hefty steaks no problem. I look forward to using this for some time to come.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Victor A must have portable grill for campers
This is the first infrared grill that I have tested and it surely did not disappoint. First of the size its portable and at the same time not too heavy. You can easily carry it in the trunk of your car with some luggage space still remaining. No tedious assembling is required and you are ready to use the equipment in 5 mins after unpacking. The overall construction of the grill is pretty solid and it also has a temperature gauge. The design of the grill is made to reduce flareups. I tried them for grilling chicken and turkey pieces and did not observe any flareups. However, I am not sure this will be the case for high fat meats (I do not use them so cannot comment). The cooked meat was definitely juicer and did not dry much due to the radiating heat. The gas consumption is pretty average and the small disposable tank lasts for around hour and a half. Be sure to burn let the flames running for a while before using the grill initially.
The flame started is not battery operated which is pretty convenient. Now for some con's there is no stand available for this particular model, all you can do is have a portable picnic table if you need it. Also no place to hang or put the grilling tools. The gas controller knob looks flimsy and seems that it will not last long.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by ToolTimeTony Great portable grill for tailgating or camping
Nice portable grill for tailgating, camping, or any use away from your main grill. Cooking area is decent size, 11x17, and will fit a double griddle if you want to cook eggs or pancakes. Can fit a decent number of hamburgers and hots for an average size party. Cooks fast - and even. Promotes its infrared technology to reduce flair ups, and it does do a decent job, even when cooking burgers. Can vary heat but "low" is still fairly hot, and "hot" will sear a steak better than most large scale grills. Uses propane cylinders, and has screw on regulator that attaches directly to the burner. Attachment is easy, but the cylinder doesn’t lock so either the tank hangs or it rests on the table where the grill is placed. Tank lasts a decent time even at full heat. Unit doesn’t have tall legs so you will need a surface to place it on unless you want to bend over. Easy to transport, compact size as compared to other portable grills, and looks nice. Cooking grate is fine grid so food doesn’t fall through, and cleans fairly easily. Overall, a very nice grill, and if you just want to grill up a few hots and hamburgers - it will do the job quickly! Requires some minor assembly, which wasnt clearly depicted in the instructions, although the gas connection process was well defined.

I keep it on my my patio. So if it rains I can still grill. It is small enough to keep on my pinic table.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by OrVette50 Now I can grill while camping like I do at home.
The first time we used the Grill 2 Go in the campground, we were cooking bratwhurst and other sausages. We could not turn the heat low enough to cook without burning. This would also be a big problem cooking fish. It will be great when cooking steak and hamburgers, though.
The quality is great, which is why I was looking only for a Charbroil product. I like the fact that I can put smoker pellets directly on the grill instead of having a separate pan for the chips.
I purchased the grill through Home Depot online, as that was the only place I could find it except from Charbroil online. I saved $20 buying it through Home Depot though and it was on my porch in about a week. Thanx Home Depot!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by ibtd Well built and cooks great
We bought one of these grills about a year ago when we got a small travel trailer. It's sturdy and works so well that sometimes I use it at home instead of our older full size Jenn-air gas grill. Since we don't normally need a large grill I'm thinking about buying a second one to use at home and only drag out the camper grill when we need more. I only use a 20 lb tank with a 10 foot hose. That way I can use the extra tank on our trailer or connect up to one on the deck at home. You can remove the regulator with the hose attached and stow it inside the latched grill for travel. I never tried it with the little bottles and probably never will.
