Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by TopherBScott A MUST have for Kamodo Grill owners!!!
I thought I was a big know it all about grilling, but the Char-griller Smoking Stone is a life-saver. It helps you cut down on the amount of charcoal you use and helps prevent direct contact between flames and your food.
The atone has helped me cook my pizza more evenly and has been a big help in cooking steaks, chops and chicken, too.
It locks into place in the prongs inside the grill and is a good reating place for a smome box or drip pan for fat from meats or final saucing of your food.
Worth every penny. Don't but a Kamodo Grill without getting one of these smoking stones. 5/5 stars

The stone functioned well as a smoking stone, with the added bonus of being an excellent pizza stone when placed on the grill.

The stone really slows the heat down to the grill surface. Works great for regulation lower temps and baking things. Chicken turned out great. Tender and juicy.

The biggest question I had when looking for stones is whether it would fit my Home Depot Vision Kamado smoker/grill. It does. The 3 "hands" sit on top of the inner charcoal area. The outer ring is where the grill sits normally but if you use this stone, your grill will sit on the stone instead.
