I wanted to try charcoal BBQ-ing. The price was attractive for the experiment. The quality of the product exceeded expectations. Very well constructed, solid (although the wheels, while utilitarian, seem cheap), simple but well designed, excellent controllable air-flow, easy clean (a drawer). Not only would I recommend it to a friend, I have. I've been using the BBQ through the winter and am staying with charcoal. If you buy this one, do "season" the grill plates as per instructions, it really works. (Never use wire brushes. If you season the grill plates, it'll clean easily)

I wanted to try charcoal again...been with propane for the last 20 years. WOW. Better grilling and no Flare ups!!! It takes about half an hour to get it hot (pile the charcoal together on one side and then spread when mostly white). Cooking is easy as you do not have to worry about the meat becoming a flaming torch. Definitely Recommend. A good inexpensive BBQ to experiment with and see if you agree with me. The extra with this BBQ is the slide out tray which makes cleaning a breeze...just wait at least a day cause those coals can still be very hot.

This barbecue is the ideal size for the apartment or condo dweller. It is for the patio. Does not take very much room on the balcony and still has the require grill size to barbecue.
Because it is charcoal, easy to get a bag than have a gas propane barbecue.
Great for the summer and compact enough to store in your storage space.

I purchase this grill last year. I LOVE it as well as my son. I don't care if if raining, snowing, etc. if he feels like cooking he's out there. The food is great. Yes I would recommend this for any one. It's just the right size not too big or small.

I was really surprised when I saw how small this unit was.. After assembly and seasoning the metal .. My first cook was a 13.5 pound turkey .. easily fit into unit .. and heat was very easy to control .. Very heavy gauge metal construction and cast iron grill surface make this a very nice unit that will accomodate 2-4 persons easy... If space is a premium and the cost needs to be low, then this is the grill for you.. Love mine!
