I got Pro Deluxe Charcoal Grill for a Christmas gift. It was easy to assemble and larger than I expected. I live in Michigan so using it for the first time was cold but the grill heated up nicely and was a joy to cook on. I really like the cast iron cooking grates and after seasoning them as directed they were non stick. Anyone wanting a charcoal grill would be impressed by this grill.

I ordered this grill online and had the grill sent to my home. I received the grill in about a week. It was easy to put together but the lid was bent. Maybe next time I will pick-up from the store.

I gave this to my father-in-law for Christmas. It is pretty solid construction. He's very happy with it.

This grill large cooking surface makes it great for cooking multiple things at once. The adjustable coal rack is a nice feature

I’ve had my smoking Pro for 7 years and to be honest, it looks bad, it’s rusty, the paint has burnt off, the racks have all been replaced with meshed steel, 2 more wheels have been added, the frame has been beefed up with angle iron and meshed steel so it will at least hold more than 5 lbs without collapsing, a propane turkey burner has been installed in the fire box so I can cook with charcoal or propane, good for those 12 hour overnight burns….. bottom line, I love this smoker!! I didn’t buy this smoker cause it was pretty, I bought it so I could learn how to have BBQ and it must have worked. When I fire it up, the phone starts ringing and I’m turning them away. When we winter in Florida, my wife and I prepare a Christmas dinner for 94 people at our RV resort. Three years and the numbers are increasing. It travels 3000 miles on the back of our 5th wheel so yes, I’ve had to beef up the construction a bit for traveling. I’ve had the Lazy Q smokers (Bradley Original) until the electronics break and then it’s useless and then had one that ran on propane, Master Forge, it worked well but was too small…. Absolutely nothing can break on the Chargriller, just load it up with natural lump charcoal or wood and fire it up. I emphasize natural charcoal because briquettes are loaded with chemicals. Yes you have to make some adjustments to it, part of making it your own. Read some negative reviews about it losing heat especially in cool weather, consider placing a welders blanket over it, of course with a cut out for the chimney. I used to be critical about the cheaply made cover, my first ones usually lasted less than a season, but they seem to hold up better now. Overall this is a very good smoker for the beginner and novice, it’s affordable, has a large cooking area, and with a little tinkering here and there, it will live up to your expectations. Just want to pass along a tip: don’t waste you money on little bags of smoke chips, put in some real wood chunks, I find birch, apple and maple provide a nice sweet flavour. It can easily handle 8 beer can chickens or 4 turkeys or 8-9 slabs of ribs with no problems. Chargriller has an excellent web site with links to many forums with people willing to share their ideas and culinary arts. Slow and low, happy smokin’
