Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Alison Mounting hardware pushes it out from the wall about 1/8" and the heatplate the bulb is mounted to can be seen from above.
This is a simple attractive fixture at a good price, but the metal piece of mounting hardware keeps it from being tightened all the way down so it is flush to the wall. It's only about 1/16 to 1/8 of an inch, but that keeps it from being as secure as it could be. We decided we could live with it because the price we got the fixture at can't be beat, and we also didn't want the hassle of returns and shopping more. Also, we installed one in a stairway, and we can see the heat plate the bulb is mounted to from the top, as the edge of the plate is only about an inch lower than the decorative covering.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Handyman92037 Good value, perfect size, very pleased
I purchased these as an upgrade for a rental. The small size was perfect for my application. I like the fact the bulb can be changed without removing the glass, just unscrew it from the top. The initial install requires some trial and error to adjust the metal plate, after that there isn't much left to do. Take care not to over-tighten the retaining screws - that could break the glass. The simple design works well in a variety of decors. Only downside I can foresee is that if someone breaks the glass it will be difficult or impossible to get a replacement and the fixture will be useless.

We were excited to find these sconces at such a great price. However, to date, we have only installed one light and that did not go smoothly. I was hoping these would be easy and my husband would be able to teach me how to switch out a light fixture. No go.....he struggled to get the light to fit properly. All 4 fixtures have an angle on the wall plate that doesn't seem to make sense. We tried to make adjustments and the fixture still doesn't sit flush to the wall. They look pretty good when installed, but it shouldn't be this hard.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Awsome1 Brushed nickel wall sconce
2 of these for the price is a great deal. I put these in the smaller bedrooms of a rental I am remodeling which had no lights. Uses regular screw in bulb. Hugs the wall nicely and puts out up to 60 watts of light. Bulb screws in from the top making it easy to change the bulb when that's needed.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Laura Nice, inexpensive light
Went up easily. Back plates were a little bent and needed to be straightened out. Will probably take one back down because we didn't get it straightened before putting up and it's not laying flush against the wall. But overall a nice look for the price.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Char Best $15 for 2 wall sconces you'll spend
These sconces are tasteful enough, fairly easy to install, and do the job. Good enough for $7.50 each.
