Answer:
I don't really know. I cut 1/2 to 3/4 thick pork loins done a good job. But when the holidays get here I may cut some cheese and sausage for snacks. Sorry i wasn't much help. If your thinking like shaved cuts it may not do that very well just my guess.

Answer:
I do not know what NSF is. However, I did look up ratings on food slicers before purchase. This one has the highest rating. Hope this helps.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from best purchase Was not sure at frist about how well plastic gears wold hold up. but it worked great. Cut 3 pork loins up in no time . way better and fast then a electric knife plus the cuts are even not loped sided like the other way i done it. takes longer baging the cuts then cutting it up.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It gets the job done You get your moneys worth, the slicer is a little light and kept moving around the counter. If I was going to do a lot of slicing I would spend a little more and get a more heavy duty model. The price was right for the small amount that I have to slice. (The slicer cut good).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good slicer I am pleased with the slicer. I did purchase a smooth edged blade for it. Since, it only comes with the serrated blade. Most of the cutting equipment I have purchased does not come with the blade you use most. So, I expected to have to purchase the additional blade. Overall, I am very pleased with the slicer. I mostly use it to get produce ready to dehydrate. I will have to purchase the blade sharpener from the slicers company. The thickness adjustment is easy to use. I just make a note on what setting to use for what I am cutting so that I do not have to experiment next time.

I like the feature of being able to adjust the thickness to my liking. I used it to slice hams during the past Christmas season. Well worth the purchase price.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice little slicer We bought this slicer for meats, hard cheese, and veggies. So far it has worked well. Dismantle and cleaning is fairly easy. For the money you just cant beat the quality, ease of use, and performance. This unit is for a family kitchen at a budget friendly price. With those requirements in mind this is an unbeatable unit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Slicer I bought this slicer as a Christmas Present for myself so I could slice up the Christmas Ham and other stuff for dinner. It was Easy to use and was slicing within 10 minutes out of the box. It worked great with the Summer Sausage, Cheese and the Ham and today I sliced up a pork loin to freeze the chops and didn't have to wait at the Meat Counter in the long line.
