Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Mike the flooring came together better than expected
I was hesitant to do this myself but after reading instructions and taking my time, the finished product came out better than I expected. We love the look and ease of installing, blended this room with another room that i had already done and it came out great.

Its a durable, easy to install product, thats looks very real. Most people don't know my floors are laminate and are shocked when I reveal it to them.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Broomrider Love my laminate and plan to do more rooms with this product!
My son installed the exact product/color at his shore rental 5 years ago and it wears like iron. No scratching by sand. I love that the dog cannot scratch the floor with her nails! Did buy a throw rug for her though to prevent loss of traction when she jumps on/off the recliner. My husband and son drag in dirt and debre from the outdoors and it cleans up easily. The trucking company was a little slower than stated by store, however shipment was in perfect condition and delivery man was very cooperative and customer friendly. My sons did not have any difficulty with installation. Check that all the seams are tight and are not sloppy!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by rtorres Looks like real wood!
My neighbors wanted to see what was going on with all our remodeling and were extremely surprised to find out they were standing on laminate flooring. We had it installed due to laying 1,200 sq. feet.
We actually were going to buy engineered wood but could not find anything close to the cherry color of this DuPont product. After seeing all the scratches and markings on real wood, we decided to go with this laminate. Thus far, all markings simply wipe off.
The biggest con we heard about laminate is the "hollow" sound it can make when walking on it. This product with its built in foam layer eliminates it almost completely. Very pleased with this decision. Looks Great!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Novicecrew Dupont Laminate Real Touch Cherry
Overall appearance is great! Although for the first time installers like ourselves, would recommend you take your time with laying out the pieces prior to installing. Also purchase or rent the larger tapping block and pull bar. We damaged a few pieces during the installlation. Getting the hang of snapping the pieces together takes some time but found out that lifting the pieces at an angle helps. We used the matching fast trim and quarter round to finish up and looks great! Also remember you can only cut the pieces a specific way or will waste them, again plan well and do not be in a rush. We will probably be purchasing the Dark Cherry for bedrooms in the future. Great product!

I like the floor it looks great, even thought I'm not completly done yet. Had a lot of trouble under a door jamb between the kitchen and service porch. Yes I sawed off the bottom and was able to slide it underneath on the starting side but when you get to the other side there is no way you can lift it enough to lock it in while it's under the jamb. I ended up carving down the tabs so I could get it to snap together while hitting it with the block. I also had some spots where I had to go right to left instead left to right and those were really hard to get in. I wish they were designed to go either way.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by LockesburgDerek Great product
Installed this laminate in the dining room in March 2006 and a year later it still looks great. We have 3 kids and 2 dogs and it doesn't have a single scratch. It was fairly easy to install and spills and dog accidents are breeze to clean up. No more scrubbing or worring about pet stains in the carpet. It also helps with my youngest daughter allergies, as it takes about 1 minute to run a dust broom over it everyday instead of getting out the vacuum, finding the plug in, and pushing it around for 10 minutes . The only bad thing I can say about the flooring is if our dogs get to running around they will slide around a little bit. Overall great product and just ordered some online to do my living room.

We have installed this in our living room, master bath and the tile version in our kitchen and spare bath. It goes down very easy once you get through the first two to three rows. We have two dogs and plenty of guests in and out and have not had one chip, stain or mar on any of the flooring. Having the underlayment preinstalled to each plank is a real time saver.
One suggestion for the installation is to make sure to cut the boards OUTSIDE! The foam underlayment gets everywhere when you cut the planks down. We set up sawhorses on the deck and picked a nice summer weekend and had at it.
Along with the matching quarterround molding and the transition pieces it looks darn near professionally installed.
