I had the opportunity to evaluate this cover. It is a light weight un reinforced plastic fabric cover.
There is a pullstring fit cord of poor quality and the sole grommet that guides it is a fail. The grommet pulled loose immediately and the pull cord would not work easily. the sensitive areas need reinforcement. The cord bound in the cover and took three minutes to tighten properly. The push button cord latch also did not hold in a 15 mph wind gust. The fabric tie downs did work or I would still be looking for the cover. I really do not think this will last as it is though a Indiana Winter.

This cover is a decent cover. It looks more attractive than a standard black vinyl cover. Initially the quality is quite good. It has air vents and is waterproof. Time will tell if it can withstand a mid-Atlantic winter, with frequent freeze/thaw cycles and sometimes wet heavy snow and ice. It seems rather thin to me, thinner than a common blue tarp. The tie-downs are shorter than needed--i could barely tie a bow. Depending on your climate, this cover could work nicely for a few years and look quite nice. For more severe climates, I believe there are superior alternatives available.

Very nice cover. Looks good. Material sheds water well. Very sturdy handles, matching the handles on their larger furniture covers. The draw-string has an easy snugger. The storage bag is well attached. The cover stuffs neatly into the storage bag, making a nice small pack to put away. The tie-downs could be longer, but for the price this is an excellent value!

I would describe this as a "medium duty" cover - thicker and higher quality than the cover that originally came with my fire pit, but less thick than my Weber grill cover. So far I have no complaints about the durability. Interestingly, it comes with a "stuff sack" which I doubt I will ever need (why would I be transporting just the fire pit cover?). The fit was great, however the cover ties down with strings on either side which unfortunately are not long enough to reach around the legs on my fire pit. The cover also has a drawstring on one side to tighten the cover down, which still works reasonably well given the ties didn't work on my fire pit. Overall, had the ties fit on my fire pit I would have given it five stars, however I'm still happy with the cover and don't anticipate any trouble with the cover blowing off under normal conditions.
