Answer:
Hello,
In my experience, this happens when you first get started but the cab will warm up from your body heat and the heat from the machine and the snow slides off.

Answer:
This enclosure is a universal design. It was made to fit a variety of machines, not a specific make or model. It will fit most single and two-stage snow throwers.

Standard Snow Blower Cab is rated 3.7 out of 5 by 35.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great...no more snow in the face! Assembly wasn't overly difficult, average skills needed to put together. Pretty much a one person job, although I did get a helping hand to pull back the fiberglass rod that helps supports the top. Other than that went 'together' quite well. My snowblower is a two stage and as it says, it fits most two stage blowers. I rated the Quality and Ease of Use only good because I haven't had any snow yet! But I really don't think this 'cab' will be a problem and will sure beat getting snow/wind in the face and snow down the back of my neck! I think it's very worthwhile to buy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Money well spent. Not too hard to assemble, but I do recommend (like others) that you keep the vynal material warm prior to final assembly so that it can stretch the little bit that it has to. I did have a problem with the cab "swiveling" around the handlebars of the blower.... seems I couldn't get those clamps tight enough around the smooth pipes. I finally invested $.98 in some friction tape under the clamps and haven't had a problem since. I can't imagine NOT having this cover, especially since the winds swirl in every direction when I blow snow.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great hood for people under 5'10" It was a bit awkward to assemble and could use more hardware to keep it from tilting. Great hood for my fathers blower because he is short. I am 6'3" and don't even come close to fitting under it. After assembled, it seems strong enough to work. Not a bad product for the price for sure. Took 1 star because its too short and had to add 2 bolts to ensure it doesn't tilt.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from well designed will fit any snowblower good value for the money 1/2 the cost of OEM products assembly time took me 30 minutes, but had to really tighten the brackets that held the guard to snow blower frame to prevent sagging

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does the job !! Living the snowiest city in the USA, the snow shield works as it was designed. Follow the directions as written and you will have no problems. Being out of the wind and blowback makes snow removing easier and almost fun !!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not for all Ariens Snowblowers Purchased this hoping it would keep the cold winter snow off me. The support brackets would not stay straight on the snowblower. Thus the shield would not align properly. Also, the Ariens snowblower has a center shoot turning handle. This cover would not fit under or over the handle. The turning handle got caught up in the bottom of the shield. After 2 hours of trying to figure out a way to make it fit my Ariens snowblower I packaged it back up and returned to the store for a refund..
