Hello,
In my experience, this happens when you first get started but the cab will warm up from your body heat and the heat from the machine and the snow slides off.

This enclosure is a universal design. It was made to fit a variety of machines, not a specific make or model. It will fit most single and two-stage snow throwers.

Customer Reviews

Rated 3.7 out of 5 by 35 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by I was so excited for it to snow so I could use my snow blower cab! This product was fairly easy to essemble, stretching it over the frame was a little difficult alone. It fits great on my snowblower and blocked the snow and wind from my face which is exactly why I wanted it. January 29, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good bang for the buck I am rating this a four mainly because the assembly instructions are terrible. This requires quite a bit of patience to assemble. The frame rods and fittings are mis-labeled; i.e. the manual calls for rod "F" when it is actually rod "E" and so on, most of them are mis-labelled. Assembly is pretty straight forward but you need to figure out what parts go where and some tweaking was needed on one of my fittings as it was welded at an angle. Also the brackets that bolt to the main frame, where the tilt adjustment is, have been redesigned and are totally different from the ones pictured in the manual. The canopy is a pain to slip over the fiberglass hoops and the manual doesn't really get specific detail. I think if they redid the manual properly or had an online video on assembly this would be easier. I laid the fabric on a table near my heat source right out of the box without trying to unfold it. It was 15F the day I received this, so I wanted it to be warm and plyable when I unfolded so I wouldn't crack the see thru panels. I highly recommend you do this as it makes it easier to lay out and stretch the material over the frame. The material is stretch fit onto the frame, this is not easy, I did it myself as I had noone available to assist, but three or four hands would have been better. I like the way it bolts to the machine and adjustability is very easy, the clamps seem to hold it securely and there is no trouble with visibility, there is a slight crease on the window right above my forehead but I think it will heal after it has been exposed to some heat, maybe leaving it outside in the sun at the end of the season. I have not actually used it as we have not had any snow but all my connections are secure and the fabric stitching is of good quality. The canopy itself is very roomy, I am a big guy and I have no trouble. There is a mesh pocket on the left side, not sure what for, maybe replacement shear pins for the snowblower or a cell phone. There is also a clear window right in front of my blower's headlight which is a nice feature. There is a vertical zipper next to it but I am not sure why. If you are handy, for the price, you can't go wrong December 31, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Poor Quality Construction Price was right for what you got...don't give you enough material to fit over the frame, even if "warmed up". Pieces are mislabled, some parts are welded incorrectly (crooked), trying to fit cover over frame not enough material, leads to tearing of material. Velcro strips should be longer for better "grasping" to secure it. After four hours felt as if I "wrasseled" some critter, wore me out. Brought it back, got my money back. Really, for the price should be better quality, language in instructions, many inaccurate. January 23, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great...no more snow in the face! Assembly wasn't overly difficult, average skills needed to put together. Pretty much a one person job, although I did get a helping hand to pull back the fiberglass rod that helps supports the top. Other than that went 'together' quite well. My snowblower is a two stage and as it says, it fits most two stage blowers. I rated the Quality and Ease of Use only good because I haven't had any snow yet! But I really don't think this 'cab' will be a problem and will sure beat getting snow/wind in the face and snow down the back of my neck! I think it's very worthwhile to buy! November 30, 2011
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Useful, but... This is a great way to keep the snow from flying in your face when you use your snowblower. Two caveats: 1. The instructions for assembly leave a great deal to be desired. After describing in excruciating detail the simpler steps, they skip over the only really difficult one: the stretching of the fabric over the assembled frame. Not only do they not show a few intermediate steps in this not-quite-intuitive process, they compound matters by reversing two images! It took me longer than I care to admit to figure this out! 2. The device, once assembled and bolted to the snowblower, does make it a bit top heavy and awkward to maneuver, especially in deep snow or uneven or sloped terrain. So if you're likely to encounter such conditions you might be better off putting up with the man-made blizzard. February 5, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Money well spent. Not too hard to assemble, but I do recommend (like others) that you keep the vynal material warm prior to final assembly so that it can stretch the little bit that it has to. I did have a problem with the cab "swiveling" around the handlebars of the blower.... seems I couldn't get those clamps tight enough around the smooth pipes. I finally invested $.98 in some friction tape under the clamps and haven't had a problem since. I can't imagine NOT having this cover, especially since the winds swirl in every direction when I blow snow. January 22, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by This product is fair to decent. Once I assembled the cab and attached the brackets on to my blower, the universal fit to my particular blower was not as good as I expected. I am still trying to figure out how to keep the cab from coming down and riding on my head as I operate the snow blower. It seems to need an extra bracket to support the back of the cab so that it will remain in place while in use. Now that I have just written it, this is what I'm going to figure out how to do. Also, the cab takes up a huge amount of space and is not easy to put on and take off. This costs a lot of extra time prep time to get the core job of removing the snow. My overall rating of this product is fair, and falls under the "something is better than nothing" category. However, I have not used it when there was wind and blowing snow yet either. That is going to tell the real story. March 1, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Do Not Buy this Cab!! For starters, this cab is difficult and time consuming to put together. But once it is on your snow blower, the weight of the cab makes it drop down while you are using it. Tightening the bolts holding it on the frame eventually breaks the welds and the whole unit falls down on you. Do not buy this product. It only lasts a 4-5 uses. Absolute terrible quality, terrible product, and a waste of my time. March 12, 2014
