CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 5.0 out of 5 by 6 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Stiff, easy to clean putty knife This is an awesome, super stiff putty knife that truly is non-stick. Overall: Good weight and nice handle with non-stick coating (similar to a cooking pan). Wipe clean with a rag. Stiffness: Very stiff. No flexibility here. Perfect for scraping walls or filling in small holes (my use). In short, for a putty knife this is extremely well made (even backed by a lifetime warranty as other reviewers have noted). Highly recommend. January 6, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Heave duty putty knife with stiff blade This is definitely the stiffest putty knife I have ever used. The blade stays rigid making clean smooth applications to walls and doors. The handle is very comfortable to use and very high quality. This will be the only putty knife you need to own. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by This putty knife can take some punishment I've got a variety of putty knives, but they're all the flexible type. I wanted a stiff putty knife that I could use for scraping off old paint, finishes, etc., so I chose this Clauss Acme nonstick model. And I'm pretty impressed with its durability. The knife's got a nice weight & feel to it (nice handle) and the titanium blade works like a bruiser without bending or getting chewed up. The blade's surface appears to be coated with some type of non-stick product-- especially handy if you're scraping up old paint mixed with stripper. I can't recall ever seeing a putty knife with a limited lifetime warranty-- Clauss must know this product can take whatever any DIYer can dish out. December 28, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great quality knife! I had a bunch of nicks and dings around the house that needed filling in. This knife did a great job doing it. The thing I was most impressed with is that it was very easy to clean. The blade is very non-stick and glided on and wiped off with total ease. Comfy grip was nice too...my old knife was very cheap and after a few hours of use my finger had been rubbed raw. It was a good buy so if you need a knife this is a good one to get. December 20, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Putty Knife I used this knife to spackle holes in drywall and it did a terrific job. Handle has a really nice feel. I loved the fact that it was so easy to clean. It has a nonstick finish so spackle rinsed off quickly and knife was as clean as new! There is a hammer end to set nails which I did not use, but is a nice feature if/when you need it. This putty knife will not disappoint. September 11, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Well Made Tool The putty knife is extremely well made. The handle has a nice grip and the weight is good. It is hardened in the end so you can hammer in drywall nails. The blade itself is non-stick making it easy to clean up. It is also not too thin so it is indeed stiff. December 19, 2013
