Product Overview

Grill-cooking is tasty and healthy. Cooking on a grill not only adds a smoked-flavor to prepared food, but also helps unlock the real and natural taste of food. It is no wonder why so many demanding gourmets enjoy grilled food. Even during cold winters, they still cook on a grill. In addition, grill-cooked food is healthy because it contains less fat than either broiled or fried food. The saturated (meat) fat is drained away by heat from the flame underneath achieving lean low-calorie food. No one likes to clean the grill. When cooking on a grill, the fat drippings and the food itself stick to the grill bars. They then become thick layers of carbonized (greasy) food residue. No matter what material or method is used for manufacturing the grill grates, they always need to be cleaned. We all hate it. So, the same grill is often used without a serious cleaning. Consequently, the food residue from earlier cooking becomes a part of the new fresh food making it taste bitter. Such food residue is known to be harmful. So, when the residue is not cleaned, many unpleasant things can occur. When you use a grill at a public park, the black thing marking your new food is actually from the previous use of the grill by someone else. In one example, someone allergic to oysters was sent to an emergency room, after eating a (beef) steak in a restaurant. And more. Now, good news for grill users.

  • No need for cleaning grill grates any more
  • Fits most standard grill grates thanks to its flexibility like an accordion
  • Grilled food using Clean BBQ liner is tastier mainly because no black bitter tasting things marking your food
  • Healthier simply because you don't eat the harmful black bitter things
  • With some vegetable oil sprayed over the liner, food sticks less over the liner
  • Keep the grill grate clean

Answer:
I have not washed the liners as some others have, but I frequently cut them in half, or to the size of whatever I am cooking. I have also turned them over and used the clean, bottom side for a second grill.

I have put lightly soiled ones in the dishwasher and they are ok to reuse. I do that with aluminum pans too.

Answer:
I've used these liners for years and consider them a one-time use only per liner. But since there are only two of us using the BBQ, I cut them in half and still have plenty of space for the food being BBQ'd. This gives us twice as many uses from one package!

Rated 4.2 out of 5 by 28 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best Grill Product Ever I've been using these for years. I disliked using my grill in the past because you can never get the old food completely off. With these you always have a new, clean cooking surface. On my grill the slats don't fit exactly but I pull the sheet apart a bit. It also helps to mold the foil around the grill slats with your fingers so it stays put better. And spray on a little cooking spray. When I'm done I just turn the grill up for a few minutes so all the residue on the aluminum burns to ash. Easy disposal. Aluminum melts at over 1200 degrees F so I don't think it's going to melt on your food. August 4, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best grill product ever!!! I discovered these 3 years ago, when I put in my new outdoor kitchen...and I WOULDN'T LIVE WITHOUT THEM! I'm able to cut them in half, since I only cook for the 2 of us and get twice the usage, since I'm able to cook outdoors year around here at the coast of SC. Also, I discovered you need to spray them with the OUTDOOR GRILLING "PAM" COOKING SPRAY...VERY LIGHTLY, so that your meats don't stick. I love them so much, when I saw them while shopping at HD last summer, I bought 25 sets of them! YES...25 sets. And HD, has the best price!! They will last forever, and I don't want to ruin my outdoor kitchen grates by not having them. This is a product you can't live without, once you start using them! February 4, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by alum bbq grill protector you should highlite how many in package....appears to be ONE for $15...wrong !! Was in HD today and bbq asst. never heard of them even though it states online that there are 16 in stock. real time saver October 15, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Great IDEA... But, HORRIBLE Product BEWARE... these Grill Liners WILL MELT, ruining your Outing / Picnic / FOOD. IF you try these, place them ON the grill Several Minutes BEFORE you ( Take the Chance ) and place your Food on them. Mine Slowly started to Flatten-Out, Deform, and MELT... Thankfully BEFORE the food was place on them. In Prior Years I have always used Reynolds HEAVY DUTY Aluminum Foil, which has NEVER MELTED, but does not have drainage holes... had to poke some holes in the Foil. Granted, a layer of Foil is only good for One round of cooking. If you have another round of cooking later, a New layer of Foil is required, BUT at least your cookout is NOT Ruined. August 18, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great product! I've used these for a while now... wouldn't grill without them. They are a little thin, but I've never had one "melt" like others have described. I usually cook with indirect heat so that's probably why. August 23, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Ruined my food! So we grilled some bratwurst and hamburgers today. When we bring it inside I notice the food is covered in slivers of aluminum! July 26, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Quality of Grill Liner HAS CHANGED! I would have given a much better rating but the aluminum has cheapened. Last July 2014 I purchased KT's Clean BBQ liners at Home Depot. They were amazingf!!!!! The aluminum was sturdy and the liners held up and it was good. I ran out and purchased another package. They were so flimsy and broke up immediately. The liners BURNT immediately on the grill and tore up. I took them back. It was just that bad. Disappointed to say the least. March 15, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great product !!! Keeps food clean & no worry of cleaning brush bristles in your food. One minor problem is that some foods will stick a bit if you don't spray it with a little Pam or equal oil. March 4, 2015
