Everything needed to replace the existing stopper is provided, including three different sized balls, to fit the existing fitting. To adjust the depth of penetration of the operating lever, it helps to shine a small flashlight down the drain....the only difficulty is due to the length of the lever provided, making it a tight fit to get the lever rod into the appropriate hole on the vertical operating link. Once installed the stopper operates freely and is easily removed to clean any blockages. The stopper assembly is plastic...but most are these days.

Hard to really tell if this will be clog free - because the little lever inside does protrude a little into the drain pipe - not a huge difference from what i can see. I only needed channel locks for a tool here, but i did have to cut the lever arm about 2 inches because underneath the sink it is really tight and small . A little confusion also resulted because they give a few extra parts and i couldn't tell which part to use, not a big deal - a little trial and error to make it work The part is very light weight and I was a little concern if it was going to drop down when i needed, but no real problem occurred. Not the greatest of instructions, but a little extra patience and some trial and error and this works - very happy with it.

I bought a house that was missing the pop-up drain stopper in the guest bathroom. I was mostly concerned that someone would lose something down the open drain. The instructions tell you to remove the old ball rod and stopper, then choose a ball of similar size from the 3 provided. This became a guessing game since I had none to remove. After getting past that issue, it all went together just fine, and has worked well. I can't really speak of the clog-free aspect since the guest bath gets little exposure to hair clogs.

I'm pretty good at DIY installations. This product is difficult to install because the rod has to be shortened with a hack saw to fit between the drain and back wall under the sink. Worse than that, the product does not move the plunger up and down properly because it relies on friction between a pointed metal rod rubbing against a grooved plastic piece with a strong magnet holding them together. The connection/friction is not strong enough to keep the plastic piece from slipping. Plus, the plastic piece with the stopper on top leans, so that it does not seal properly.

The product arrived in great order and was well packaged. This is especially important with chrome finished items as you do not want the finish to be scratched up. This product was shiny and new and looks good as a replacement stopper. I was specifically looking for a stopper that would be easy to install, which this one was, and one that would be easy to clean. I couldn't ask for a better, or easier, surface to clean, and which has proven to be clog free. The bathroom sink now smells and looks much better.

This product doesn't work. It was a waste of 2 hours trying to install it. It is NOT convenient, the instructions on the package are not true to the actual install and could be better clarified. I am taking this back to Home Depot. I was unfortunately forced to purchase it because the Home Depot out in Tigard, Oregon only carried this and one other stopper. Maybe a better selection for the customer would be nice. I will be going to the other major home repair store to check out their selection.

The installation was very easy, which is a plus. The installation was done in less than five minutes. It took longer to get the old stopper out. The drain doesn't clog. The water doesn't sit and rest and fill up the basin. When you need to put the stopper down so that you do want water in the basin, there isn't any leakage and you do get a bull basin of water, unlike other drains that don't seem to allow a full basin.

Was amped about the concept of the stopper, but it doesn't stop the water.
